I don't think Dev has thought this through at all. Just to pacify his mother he has agreed to this move. He hasn't considered Sona's thoughts or feelings, the emotional investment that this treatment will require. He is a successful businessman and can make anything happen in the business world but it isn't quite the same when it comes to medical treatment.
I just wish Sona would put a stop to all of this! Ishwari is just throwing her toys out of the pram and Dev is adhering to all her wants and needs.
