I agree with you Jaanvi, I started watching the show from phase 2 so I was looking forward to getting to know Ravish equally well as much as I was looking forward to getting to know Vitharv, but I was disappointed as episodes passed.
He fell for Vividha, rather quickly but I don't want to question that because sometimes you just can't help whom you fall for, but the difference is even Vividha & Atharv fell for each other just after a few meetings we got scenes where we could see how they were occupying each other's thoughts, Vividha compared Atharv's certain aspects to Kailash's (,of course then she thought her dad was a great man), Vividha's courage was admired by Atharv and he compared it to his mother's courage.
We got scenes were Vividha spoke about Atharv to Guddi & Atharv spoke about Vividha to Sujatha. I wish we had got to hear from Ravish why and how fell for Vividha, his perspective was very important to understand his feelings but the CVs overlooked that.
Then secondly the abuse part, that just cannot be excused it was absolute torture to even watch it.
Third, Ravish is fulfilling his father's wishes but we have not been provided a clear view of what exactly he thinks of his father? The man who failed to love his mother, how did watching his parents loveless marriage affect him as a person? Because with Atharv it was clear that he hated his father for abandoning them, if Ravish does not have any anger or frustration for Ramakant I would like to know why because Ravish loves Suman a lot too!!
There is so much that could have been shown and still can be shown but I don't know what route CVs are going to take? They seem to be keen on making the trio ( Atharv, Vividha & Ravish) tangled in mysteries.
I liked Ravish's introduction it was well shot and seriously a really intro for an army guy, the second scene I liked was when he confronted Vividha, he came across as straight forward but things went downhill later on for me at least. Then I really loved the car scene after the Asylum rescue, I seriously enjoyed watching them all have a laugh together. So yes I was genuinely looking forward to watch more of Ravish Vashisht along with Vitharv but his characterisation failed to impress me I find it so one dimensional.
P.S I forgot to mention one more scene that I liked of Ravish it was when he and Atharv bonded together for the first time with a handshake, but the bromance got spoilt for me after the chaining & slapping track.
