I have read many posts saying Dev has to take a stand for sona against Gkb. I feel that Dev and sona do not care about Gkb. They just pity her as she has no place to go. If you remember, Dev in the initial episodes said 'ab tak tho tum Mami ko samajh hi gayi hogi' and sona replied Mami Kuch bhi Keh deti hai.
Sona had replied back initially when she was just married. But now that they have other crit things to focus on, they simply do not care enough about her to reply her. With the mess that she is in right now, I don't think sona has the energy left in her to care about the taunts of poor relatives living off her husband's largesse. Dev understands Mami's language very well, just throw some money on her to shut her.
Gkb managed to trigger some real damage only this time. I said trigger because, I believe ishu would have reached this stage no matter how the infertility news would have reached her.
