Hi everyone! Now I know DraShiv isn't a couple at least not yet but then there were reports of a love triangle between Rudra-Shivangi-Rocky so there is a high probability of it surfacing sooner or later and kinshuk had confirmed the same too.
Now these are my points in favour of DraShiv
Kinshuk as Rudra's entry: We all know the trps of the show before his entry and the revenge plot beginning. Now Roshiv has been promoted as the lead couple which the makers have been insistently forcing on us without much care or work however we have all seen the result in the initial weeks as a result of such promotion and that alone speaks a lot. Now one can argue that the trps increased because of the revenge beginning or Shivaangi killing one of those villains but that still proves that Roshiv isn't the reason for the increase. Now with Kinshuk's entry alone the trps were raised imagine what can happen if there was love equation between him and shivaangi.
Leads: Now we all know that Ekta has a very long history when it comes to changing or replacing the male leads in her show if they don't really happen to give the show desired resultsor isn't liked much hence I don't expect the ML to be immune here either.
Naag-Naagin love story: There are quite a lot of shows where they have shown a naagin being paired opposite a human for example, icchapyaari naagin, naagin season 1, Naaginn (waadon ki agnipariksha) from zee TV starring Sayantani Ghosh and Sachin Shroff. Plus we even have a movie called nagina where the same thing was shown Sri Devi the naagin marries Rishi kapoor the human. Now if this isn't a repeated trend then I don't know what is plus repeated trends also don't have much to offer story wise other than the same old recycled tracks. If a naag and naagin gets married what exactly is left in the story?? When a human marries another human do we ask the same thing? So why belittle a naag and naagin couple specially where the naagin is half human as in season one her mother who was a naagin in season 1 married a human, if the same thing is repeated we might as well just pretend that season 2 doesn't exist and just stick to rewatching season one which was way better in terms of romance.
Rudra and Shivaangi: Now their past may or may not be similar as we don't really know much about Rudra's history but both of them definitely have the same motive and are working together like partners watching each others backs. Normally if this was any other show then they would have definitely been paired together for the same reason as a couple which is way more interesting than watching that irritating pati-patni roshiv drama, seriously this is a supernatural thriller not a pati patni aur woh drama, but then since the makers are only interested in using Rudra for Drama because Roshiv alone isn't enough to get our attention so they need a third wheel to grab eyeballs. That alone speaks a lot about the so called lead couple.
The misunderstandings between Roshiv for me are nothing but a nuisance and a turn off to the story. It was fine till it was limited to Shivaangi thinking of Rocky as one of the murderers but for Rocky to have doubted Shivaangi having an affair with another man itself leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And this is supposed to bring them closer? If they can doubt each other today it could repeat in the future but since it is a fiction show all we can expect is a sugar coated perfect ending.
Last but not the least I just can't relate to Roshiv as a couple and their love story. Seriously a there day love story where both the leads fall for each other is just not unnatural but unbelievable too. I don't relate to how Shivaangi can actually love a person whom she believes to be her mother's murderer or even give him the benefit of doubt several times, whereas on the other hand Rudra and Shivaangi are actually shown to be growing as friends and there is a lot of scope for them as a couple too.
I admit I don't like Rocky much because of his stupidity however I feel he would have done much better with Shesha who he knew over a year and I just don't understand why he would ditch her who loves him unconditionally for a girl he just met? I am not defending shesha but had the makers not paired Rocky with Shivangi or used Shesha to create another love triangle then things could have been different for shesha, at least she wouldn't have been the one to kill shivanya her own sister whom she grew up with.
