Okay , this is a post , for me a fustrated vv fan and vitharv fan ... Characters shall be critisized and I suggest not reading if you neither respect or want to understand my views ... In short to make your day and my day don't spoil it by reading this ...
Horrible title don't you think , remember in primary school where you bring something showed and told everyone about your chosen item... Even though everyone could see it ... We all know who the cvs have brought to us for their show and tell...
But let's look at this from a writing pov...
The one rule of writing I have always been told about is show don't tell... Mayu I always remind you about this...
But let me inform...

This is a writing or directorial choice that involves the use of demonstrative techniques, rather than blatant or thinly-veiled narration, to establish narrative elements.
For example, say Alice is a badass:
To show that Alice is a badass, she would spend the entire book doing indisputably badass things. More pertinently, the book would go into detail: for instance, the work could begin with a Batman Cold Open where she takes on six mooks without breaking a sweat. In these circumstances, we don't have to be told she's badass; we can see it for ourselves.
To tell that she is a badass, the narrator, Alice herself and/or other characters around her would merely state that fact. For instance, they might report on previous incidents that have happened in the past and/or "offscreen" while the other characters were busy. Or maybe there'll be no support for the statement whatsoever, but that's unlikely ("Hey, did you hear about the badass things Alice did the other day?" "No, I didn't." "Well, they sure were badass!" * crickets*). In particularly egregious works, the narrator may state that Alice is a badass, even going so far as to include list of badass things she did, and then never mention it again or"taking the cake here"not have her act badass when the option is available.
If you're using a story structure or Point of View that doesn't include a narrator (such as limited third-person, in which you only see into the head of one character), showing is a far better idea, if only because having a narrator suddenly show up just to tell this stuff would break the reader's Willing Suspension of Disbelief. It's even more important in a visual medium, since
people don't tend to say precisely what they're thinking or how they feel about it for a hypothetical audience's benefit; watching two characters discuss the details of something they both already know rather than making economical use of a flashback to when one or both didn't know is extremely poor storytelling.
This also relates to sentence-by sentence writing decisions that have more to do with an author's language and word choice than anything else. In general, something happens in every sentence written. Is the author merely stating those events, or describing them? "Alice was angry and upset over Bob's death" is the telling version of "Alice's heart raced as her husband slumped to the floor, blood gushing
from his throat." One of these two sentences has slightly more dramatic power, and it's for reasons of impact that showing is generally advocated over telling.
Now this line is sometimes quoted as an absolute gospel truth, which is not really true. It's certainly a good habit to get into (particularly in character writing; nobody likes being told what they're supposed to think of someone), but it's not an ironclad rule, and knowing when to break it to quickly explain minor details is a major aspect of learning to write. One of the best times to Tell something instead of Show it is when you want to summarize lots of events"the written equivalent of a Time Passes Montage. Some times, one might Show so much that it becomes Too Much Information.
An extension of the concept in interactive media like Video Games is "play, don't show." Rather than the player being told that the Dragon Lord
killed your ninja clan and dishonored you by defeating you in a duel or being shown a movie sequence, the player is allowed to act out the journey to the Doomed Hometown and fight a Hopeless Boss Fight against the far more powerful foe prior to the game proper.

Okay now that, that is over ... Let's get to why am I making you read this nonsense...
The curious story of show don't tell has always been important ... Lazy writing sometimes involve cvs just point out telling us, something instead of showing...
Sometimes it gets even worst when the cvs think we are soo stupid that we don't see what they are showing , so not only do they show us , they tell us what the are showing us ... Hence Jnndsd , but in this case I think its a desperate need to solidify some information...
Dear cvs ...Ravish is great okay we get that , we get that very much , We got that from when we saw him singled handedly saving guddi ( cvs which you have forgotten) , we got that from the first time we saw him at the army base ... We got that when we partially saw him "saving" his brother ... We got that when we saw him singled handedly difusion a bomb in the most nonsensical way possible ( here are my complains www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4769987 )
But cvs , I got that message , I also got the message when , he ran to take off a watch bigger than vv out of vv's hand because that girl was too stupid to do it herself , I wonder how she even put it on in the first place...
Am not going to get into this terrorist track because its very baised , discrimination and passive agressive ... Can I ask a question what country are the terrosist from?? ... All I hear is our country India , so tell us where are the terrorist from... If you are going to point fingers point directly ... What group of people are you trying to put a stigma against ??? If you are going to be assholes do it with pride ...
Cvs I get it okay , Ravishing Ravish is great ... He is God's gift to man kind ...
But cvs you took it one step further you went from showing . To show and tell ...
Atharva became a radio station who was on replay , a broken record ... Reminding us in every breath we took that ravish is great and that wasn't enough , but the terrorist too praised him and then the country ... Ravish is great ... What does it mean when you go to this extent to make us KNOW that this character is great ... What does it mean to hammer it into the minds of the audience that ravish is great ... I know you don't value our intelligence enough to see what you have been poorly trying to show us , so you make it a priority to also tell us ...
And the sad part is you use atharva , baby A only seem to remind us that ravish is so great he would teach the terrorist a lesson , the first time was okay the second tolerable and the rest was

It got so bad that if you had , made a recording of atharva saying that and put it in vikrams place I wouldn't have noticed the difference ...
And cvs
Because am here for atharva sujata and without him , am G-O-N-E...
But I also understood , that using baby A was a tactic to get those fans of atharva who are hesitant to ravish look twice , but to me that just made me feel you are trying tooo hard and what most of us could tell you was

But if this wasn't your aim good for you because you failed ...
All this ravish is a victim and hero of all heroes was good to me because to each his own ... But then you had to take it a step further ...
And the first time I noticed was in the below scene ...
When ravish asked her if she even cared
And when he kept on telling her to go see atharva , and she was like no you are hurt
I asked myself , why does ravish have to tell her that ?? Couldn't she take initiative??
...
My initial thoughts on this scene was what bullshit is this ... Its not as if she is going to another country to wish the happy birthday , all the girl had to do was go say happy birthday and come back if she really felt that bad , but she insisted she wanted to stay and ravish insisted she must go ...
And I thought to my self , what would happen if she had to use the loo , will she still stay there because he needed someone to sort his booboos its not as if he was dying the guy walked himself into the room...
Or will she hold it in and care for his almighty... bitch put a bell next to his bed and go out ...
But I decided to give vv and the cvs a benefit of the doubt ... After all they were friends and vv was a "caring" person ...
And then
The ambulance scene happened and I was like
That scene this time struck me the wrong way .This time I refused to give cvs or vividha the benefit of the doubt because the cvs weren't even pretending anymore ...
They had extended their show and tell from atharva to vividha , but this time it was worst because they were single handedly assassinated her character... for the sake of the male lead...
All of a sudden it made sense my first instinct was right ... To show ravish's awesomeness vv had to suffer , and when I say vv I mean me as a vitharv and vv fan I had to suffer...
Vv went to ravish , the person awake and breathing over the person who is unconscious was hit on his head were he already had a wound ... and was told by ravish repeatedly to go to atharva ... ...
Cvs that's were you went wrong , because you took the victimization a step too far ...
It was now ravish the loving and caring brother who thought of Atharva before vv and ravish the loving and supporting "h*sband" who told his "w*fe" to go to his brother... Ravish again became the self sacrificing hero who , told the woman he claimed to love to go to his brother ...
In both cases ... all of a sudden vv couldn't think or decide for herself concerning Atharva, ravish had to remind her to go to Atharva , ravish suddenly did her thinking ... All of a sudden her need to care for her friend surpassed ATHARVA SUJATA ...
But I stopped myself from frowning , ranting because the best was yet to come ...
Everyone claimed they were doing this to not make vv seem heartless .. to the audience , cvs a lot of excuses where made for you ... they were doing this to make vv connect to audience that she feels bad for ravish and also cares about him ... and for the audience to connect with her she needed to show something torwards her husband ... and to me it made little sense ...
Why you ask ?? Well because, there was a difference between , appealing to those who see them as friends and those who see them as husband and wife ... And cvs please don't bullshit me all these is for the self righteous who see a couple and that's why it made little sense to me because a forced marriage will always be a forced marriage ...
No matter what you do vv will always be called names ...
But still I tried to keep it in , but then you did the worst of it all in today's episode , I was disappointed ... I needed more from vv , I wanted more , I wanted the desperation , fear , and pain of the possibility of almost losing Atharva again , I wanted the vv after the temple scene ... maybe it was there but I didn't see it..m
I wanted her to be lost and not know what to do , because she just got part of Atharva Sujata and she might be losing him in a whole ...
Cvs I would have taken the usual temple scene where the heroine breaks down in front of god making bargains. asking good why and making promises ... I would have been okay with that ... just tears rolling down her cheeks today and flashbacks weren't enough for me I wanted no, needed the dramatic effect ... I needed to know that as Atharva was losing his life Vividha was losing her life too... that soul mate connection you have been singing today needed to take center stage ...
I wanted a BREAKDOWN...( The vv and adaa scene was okay but I wanted MORE)
But none of this happened instead, you showed me ravish consoling vv by telling her she shouldn't worry because her love is with Atharva ... and I was like okay he speaks sense ,but that moment was short lived because in his next breath he asked vv how can she be sure when she told him nothing will happen to him , as he went for another bomb mission ( I hope this time actual qualified people look for the bomb)...
Now that^^ made me stop and think , hasn't ravish and vv been singing the we are friends song , isn't that what their so called relationship has been riding on ... so wouldn't it make sense for her to be worried about her friend for her to want her friend to come back home safely for her to tell her friend nothing will happen to you ...
But he stilled asked the question and I as the person who knows he has feelings for her took a step back ...
This guy knew this girl was in love with his brother , he knew what they had been through , he promised to unite them , but seem to at the most inconvenient time with his brother's life in the balance asks her this ... đ
And the poor girl will have to answer and there are only two options... but all will benefit ravish ...
1)She has feelings for him wish GOD FORBIDS ALL BAD THINGS ... me as a vithrav fan losing the feelings I have towards her as a person and only consider her as that woman...
2)She doesn't have feelings for him , which her already haters will hate her more ... and ravish will look like even more of a victim ..
Vv the witch broke his heart ... his poor aching heart , this poor guy just saved his entire nations , fought terrorist and almost died and the đ€Ź of a woman who is too impure and characterless doesn't even love him ... through no fault of his he got married and now is being put through hell , for "loving " his "w*fe" , a wife who by many fans is inferior to him ... more hatred for this girl who doesn't even deserve any and not just from the haters
And me as a fan disappointment in her as a character , not hopelessness because she is an exemplary woman , but disappointment ...
But v herself will be stuck in her own guilt, of making this god like human, a victim of circumstance ...
But she isn't even allowed to show concern because it will always be labeled, by me ( as an atharva fan , who expects a lot from this girl ), by her haters and sometimes by ravish who either asks her why do you care or why are you so adamant I will be okay ...
Cvs , I know this won't be your last attempt . and while more sympathy is being layered for certain characters , they are people like me who just see, a man who put a woman in a position she shouldn't be in , a man who knowingly or unknowingly plays the victim by placing this girl on the spot by asking her such question she doesn't have the answer to or answers he already knows but is wishing for something else ...
All I can see is a female character on a show for women empowerment being assassinated , for the sake of its male leads ... and all I can see is the fact that your degrees should be taken away and you all sent back to grade school because , if moving a show forward means destroying the past then what is the need...
For a show about women empowerment ... The disrespect you show to a woman is disconcerting ...
... PS : kriti ... This one was for you and you disappointment ...
