Svetlana's entry has a lot of possibilities because she is a well crafted character. She not only has Tej's trust but she has the power of being Tej's PA and the influence that goes with it.
She has a maturity, a vicious streak and style. All the ingredients of a perfect villain.
She has a reason for revenge as well. Always the other woman, she waited for Tej to give her the place bt the man slept with her, showed her the door and went back to his wife.

Now coming to Tia, I think she has a bigger reason for revenge but the character is so poorly executed that her actions look bizarre.
Tia thinking that Anika is responsible for Robin's death is believable because had Anika not come there, she wouldnt have asked Robin to hide and he wouldnt be dead. Though technically Tia is responsible, she loved Robin and she is looking for someone to blame. Point taken.

Now, the overdose of Tia and Anika scenes, are they really necessary? They are looking petty now because Tia's hatred should be above all this.
There is no trace that she even remembers Robin with the way she smiles evilly. You lost the person you loved and you are smiling bcz u won an agreement with Anika? Seriously?
Cvs, Tone down TiNika scenes- If you want to show Tia, show what is motivating Tia- the flashbacks of Robin. Show her hatred and pain. Make her believable for god sake.
Secondly the actress cannot really pull of intense strong villain roles, she is great as a butterfly minded socialite.

Agreed that a show needs a strong antagonist but there are more shades to an antagonist than evil smiles and petty fights. Give a reason that drives a villain and execute it well for god's sake

Well said. I agree that Tia just cannot carry the malevolent type role. Her pregnancy and whining drama is just up her alley, manipulating and pressuring Shivaay into marriage.
Her doing that Dil Bole Nafratbaaz pact was off. ugh.
Romi as well.

Frankly after Daksh, I'm not really scared of any other villain. In fact, more than Annika, it's Jhanvi who should be very scared with Svetlana's return.

And so it's the ObBros who will fight her, not Annika. so Phew...

That aside, Svets sneaking in like a chori (much like Gayathri and Roop) is SO not her style. Wonder what she wants to do , skulking about the house. Plan another murder?

You are so right here. To be honest yesterday episode( I just saw the kajrare scene but saying from what I got from the written updates) was so rushed. I think the whole last two weeks looked rushed.
Understandable that they must have planned to show RuMya & Om's storyline, when Nakuul was gone & the guys fell ill so they had to find something else to fill when ShivIka wasn't going to be their main agenda but it could have been done so well.
Tia has major reason to go all komolika on Anika. She is in shock of losing her one true love & she is blaming Anika for that It is justifiable.People go crazy when they lose loved ones.
Even she understands that if someone treats u like Shivaay treats Anika, saving them would be the last thing on ur to do list. So Anika for her was actually way out of line in being nosy.
So right you are here. They should show her motivation. That would be giving a dimension to Tia.That's what gonna make her a strong negative character. Same goes for Svetlana. Oh she can bring the whole Oberoi Empire down by letting even a single secret out. Tej must have been trusting her with a lot of things when they were together.
Instead of the classic circular vamp shots they could have shown Tia & Svetlana having a cousin like over tea conversation. That revelation would have blown our minds. Or maybe Svetlana working for the Kapoors now that the Oberoi's have fired her. Subtle yet effective.
The Tinika scenes are for TRPs I think. I don't think the ppl who watch this show enjoy the Sautan- wife drama. Most of them are youngsters, to be honest they don't freaking care about it.Anika's terrible styling bothers us more than Tia's delivery lacking vampy dialogues & threats. About Romi, I don't know what to say. Bringing her back looks a bit forced.
Honestly the Oberois have such twisted family members, they themselves are enough to create a lot of drama. If they are given effective roles, they don't need a antagonist to take the story further.

Tia is a joke as a villain 😆 The writers should have made her a pawn and a victim in her mom's plans. She just lost her husband, has no money, pregnant, and scared hanging onto her mom and Shivaay as a lifeline would make sense. Making it about survival for her and her baby not this ridiculous revenge plot they having going now.
