Svetlana's entry has a lot of possibilities because she is a well crafted character. She not only has Tej's trust but she has the power of being Tej's PA and the influence that goes with it. She has a maturity, a vicious streak and style. All the ingredients of a perfect villain.
She has a reason for revenge as well. Always the other woman, she waited for Tej to give her the place bt the man slept with her, showed her the door and went back to his wife.
Now coming to Tia, I think she has a bigger reason for revenge but the character is so poorly executed that her actions look bizarre.
Tia thinking that Anika is responsible for Robin's death is believable because had Anika not come there, she wouldnt have asked Robin to hide and he wouldnt be dead. Though technically Tia is responsible, she loved Robin and she is looking for someone to blame. Point taken.
Now, the overdose of Tia and Anika scenes, are they really necessary? They are looking petty now because Tia's hatred should be above all this.
There is no trace that she even remembers Robin with the way she smiles evilly. You lost the person you loved and you are smiling bcz u won an agreement with Anika? Seriously?
Cvs, Tone down TiNika scenes- If you want to show Tia, show what is motivating Tia- the flashbacks of Robin. Show her hatred and pain. Make her believable for god sake.
Secondly the actress cannot really pull of intense strong villain roles, she is great as a butterfly minded socialite.
Agreed that a show needs a strong antagonist but there are more shades to an antagonist than evil smiles and petty fights. Give a reason that drives a villain and execute it well for god's sake
