Rajshri Thakur aka Saloni of Saat Phere is quite unlike her character in the show. The actress, who is seen wearing saris all the time in the show, is quite tired of her on-screen traditional attire. She has now decided to put them aside and wear only western outfits. The actress has even given strict instructions to hubby, Sanjyot Vaidya, that he should gift her only western outfits.

Recently Rajshri went shopping with her husband who splurged on some funky western outfits. Our source reveals, "Rajshri is very fond of western clothes. Recently, she went shopping with her husband to a suburban mall and spent Rs 40,000 in one go. She is a compulsive shopper and Sanjyot didn't mind spending either."

When contacted, Rajshri confirms, "Yes, Sanjyot spent a lot of money on my clothes. Though I'm not brand conscious, I like Spanish brands because of I have a wide choice to select from."

She further says, "I shoot 13 hours a day and since I play a typical daughter-in-law, I have to wear a sari all the time. I am quite fed up of dressing traditionally, always loaded with jewellery. When I'm not working or am going out with my husband I prefer to wear western clothes."

She adds, "If I have to drape a sari, I have to consider wearing suitable jewellery, my hairdo, whereas it's very easy and fast to put on a pair of jeans and a top."

When asked about giving instructions to hubby Sanjyot, she says, "He loves to gift me saris on festivals. But now I have requested him to gift me only western outfits. Thankfully, he is not complaining at all."
