Where is Anika's self respect?!

Watching the SBS segment and today's episode has made me extremely angry and left me wondering, where on earth is Anika's self respect?! It's borderline embarrassing now how she is running around after Shivay trying to cheer him up and feed him. In the scene today when she tries to give Shivay the plate and he throws it in anger- why is she putting up with that? It should be Anika breaking plates in anger for how he has treated her, not the other way around. Anika forgave him way too easily and it's gone back to Shivay having the upper hand. He should be so lucky she has forgiven him but to so quickly go back to treating Anika like a door mat is ridiculous. And yes ok he helped her pick up the food but that's too little too late. And even later when Pinky is taunting Anika saying why is Anika still here, this was her plan all along etc- why does Anika not say you know what, screw all of you and your bs- I'm leaving. She should walk out with her head held high and not stick around like a desperate little girl. Even in the SBS segment they showed today, Shivay tells her to sign the papers and get out of the house but instead of leaving she's crying on his shoulder. This is not the Anika we were promised! She really does now come across as everything that Pinky is saying, clingy and desperate! It's so sad to see because I love Anika's character and I can't bear to watch them butcher it like this!!

We where promised many a thing which we dint get bt Anika was nt one among them 😆

Both r aware y he is doing this and Anika is no way a doormat heroine.
Both have different personalities. She cant function like Shivaay.
Shivaay has done many wrong things but he is trying. If both the leads were perfect then there wouldn't have been any storyline.

See it has been made very clear before the wedding only has feelings for Shivay!!! The feeling got buried down with anger with what he did with her on the wedding day.. But then it did not die down!!! And now he has got some of it back by his own family... with the treatment they have given him... So she has mellowed down a little.. . Not because she has No self respect...but because she feels for him!!!
Then the same man taken charge of his brother's education... Saved her from dying... said sorry to her twice for not believing her... .. Begged for her forgiveness... N stopped his mother everytime she has tried to insult her... and that in front of the whole family!!!

Don't you think... Her feelings will now again begin to surface... For she never hated him... She was angry on him... Now when he has given her reasons to be angry on him... I guess he has enough reasons for the come down also!!! So like any normal girl... She is trying to save Shivay from the crisis... The same guy she has feelings for!!!

It's not called giving up on your self respect... But caring for the one you don't hate!!!When you love a person... You can't xpct that person to be perfect and then fall in love with him!!! You have to love the imperfections also!!! N Shivay was never shown to be or meant to be a flawless man!!!!

I have already watched the entire episode online! I am not passing judgment, I am giving my OPINION. That is the entire point of India Forums- to give our personal opinions. Everyone is free to agree or disagree with me but the attitude really isn't necessary here, it really brings unwanted negativity to the forum.

Of course both aren't perfect and both have different personalities, but Anika from the start was shown as an independent woman who didn't need to rely on anyone else. Yet now despite being repeatedly humiliated and accused of being a gold digger, she has no qualms about staying in the OM. If like me you actually watched the episode then you would also know that when Pinky tells him to divorce Anika and marry Tia, he declares that he hasn't made any kind is decision yet. Why is it that only he will make the decision when to marry Anika and when to divorce her? Anika just stood their quietly as if waiting to see what her fate would be, when she should in fact be the one taking charge now. She should decide whether or not she wants to stay with Shivay or not, not the other way around!

Anika behaved as a door mat when she didn't throw away the MS after marriage. But now I feel she is behaving normally as one would.

Execuse me You are talking about selfrespect woh toh Gul ne Annika ka selfrespect kab ka bech diya hai TRPS ke liye...Seriously Being a woman Gul khan and Harneet have made Annika a little mouse infront of shivaay
