The father daughter moment was really nice. Naira finally managed to make him forget his grief for a little while and the family saw a genuine smile on his face after days. Kartik was thoughtful and understanding as ever. Love him! Someone find me a Kartik please!❤️

Dadi was infuriating really. There is nothing gentle or soft about her. Not even in her interactions with her so called favourites. She is such a control freak that she doesn't even ask permission before forcing the shagun in Naira's hands. She could have had a discussion instead of dictating her wishes. But she chooses to be very matter of fact and unemotional about her beloved grandson's marriage proposal. The Singhanias are a mild and accommodating lot. So she is lucky she didn't get rejected by the family.

She is so used to everyone listening to her all the time that she was bewildered for a moment that Naira isn't bowing down to her. But having said that, I get why she would feel insulted. I don't blame Naira either.

Manish, poor guy, is going to bear the brunt of his mother's doing. I doubt she will own up, especially since Kartik is extremely mad about it.

Looking forward to today's episode. I love Manish Kartik scenes. They are both great actors and have a good father son chemistry.

Kartik and Naira's maturity really shows these days.

One thing I want to mention-

Kartik really really loves the Singhania family...I absolutely love the bond they share. He walks in any time he wants to, feels so free in their presence, can say anything. Even in the Wednesday episode the way he casually tells uv- Kush that he would take them to Naira didi's place to play cos there are no restrictions there...it's like his own place and people.

Dadi was plain rude and blunt. It didn't look like a marriage proposal from any angle. Not the slightest bit of smile, no genuine about her words. It's kinda sad that she initiates all this and in the end it's always Manish who faces Kartik's wrath. Kartik needs to know his Dadi isn't as wonderful and lovable as she comes across though she loves Kartik dearly. Like you said, status comes above everything for her.

Naira's reasons were understood. And she put in the politest manner possible, explained everything clearly and with utmost respect. But of course Dadi can't see beyond her ego.

Swarna is definitely gonna be a great support to Naira, even going by the Wedn episode where she says she wouldn't let go of the second chance with Naira. But the problem is, she has no voice, her opinions are not considered by Dadi or Manish.

Manish at the receiving end again today. Kartik is gonna be ashing out with all the bitterness he has for him.

I wanna know till which part of the spoilers do you know? There have been a lot..isliye.

i loved yesterday's epi.kaira has come so much man! 🥳 the way kartik let papa n princess bond was adorable.he knows for naira her papa comes above everyone n everything in this world.so its so mature of him to do it n also the way he was adoring that moment awww daadi is 😡 it was out n out rude n insulting,atleast not a proposal for sure.naira has always been sumone who supports the truth n do whatever is right in the situation..i was surprised abt singhanias to stop naira from saying anything 😕 cmon even before naira has protested like this numerous times n akshara n naitik always supported her phir ab kya ho gaya 😕 feeling bad for manish.y kartik turns blind when it comes to daadi? 😔 btw guys do watch sunday 25th dec at 9pm yrkkh christmas spcl epi.

Wonderful episode and you review was equally beautiful.
Kaira scene was lovely yesterday, it showed though Naira is hesitant to break down infront of her family, she doesn't mind letting her tears out infront of Karthik, around him she can cry her heart out and know that he is there to support her and hold her, while around her family she fears her tears will break them.
Papa princess scene was truly heart warming, indeed they are somethings only a daughter can do. It was lovely seeing Naitik smile, from his heart and not just for showing to the family. It is beautiful how Karthik understood that they should be given privacy.
GTD please take lessons how to propose for a rishta, that is not the way to do it.
I am so proud of Naira, the way GTD proposed for the marriage anyone would have got mad or angry, yet she was very calm and very nicely told her that she couldn't accept the shagun as her family needed her now and she wasn't thinking about marriage.

Just bringing a different angle on this matter. Just something to think about.

Karthik's daadi brought a proposal. She mentions that publicly people are seeing both of them together and are asking if there is any relationship. I don't know if that is insulting or embarrassing. Someone mentioned earlier that Daadi only cares about society but don't you think Singhania's care about society too especially the elder family members? I don't think they want anybody in society talking about Naira either because it effects usually the girls reputation more than the guy and that would be an embarrassment for the Singhania family too. When they came to that realization they were embarressed too. Wouldn't they also want to make their relationship official too. Though the voicemail/text message may have appeared rude don't you think it is better for the Singhania family members to know about this so that the kids are more careful? I think both families value their reputations. Since Karthik comes from such a prominent household his actions are going to be noticed by the public more because he is from a well known family.

I know it is very common to date these days and find your own partner but those with a traditional mind may not view it positively. To protect the reputations of both families this Daadi thought it best to bring up shagun and proceed the relationship further. The only thing I wish she had done is discussed it properly with her son and dil so that they could discuss the implications. Maybe Manish would have stopped her but he trusted her whatever decision she took. Unfortunately he got the blame and the brunt of Karthik's anger which is unfair and unjustified. For me I saw a father's pain.

At the end of the day the kids can hate the parents but parents are such that no matter what they forgive you and still love you. That is something kids only understand when they themselves become parents. At the end of the day parents want only their kids to be happy even if it means that they are doing something that they don't agree with because their child's happiness matters more than their own.

I am really hoping that Karthik one day realizes that he misjudged his father and feels some remorse for that. He has really hurt his father.
