@JaiJalRaniMata:
Yes it is different to be in a physical relationship with someone you have known for longer and someone you just met. But then, if Tia is Shivaay's fiancee, then Annika was also Daksh's fiancee. He proposed to her in front of everyone and acted with full intent to marry her. So by that equation, him sleeping with Annika is fine too? But Shivaay was saying to him "you are only engaged, not married?". If it's good for him, then why not for Daksh?
He thought she took money? I mean how foolish should he be for that? Daksh even had legal papers? Will someone give legal papers to a woman for sleeping with her for 1 night? The whole thing was so stupid. To show that Shivaay believed him was total butchering of his character too. As for Annika, yes even she has been shown weak and typical bahu since marriage. If Om should be bashed for being a hypocrite, then any criticism of Annika and Shivaay should be fair too? Why all the defense by everyone of their actions? Especially Shivaay who acted no better than a common criminal towards Annika?
You may think Shivaay is an honest character. But I don't. In fact I dont think Shivaay's character makes sense. There is no back story given to justify why he is the way he is. At least we have seen Om's reasons for drugs. In that sense, they did a better job with explaining his shortcomings than Shivaay's. Rudra is complicated. They have shown he is not as chilled as he seems. His Father's philandering and Mom's drinking would have affected him too. He always speaks against long term commitment and we can see why that is. So again, his character's actions also make more sense. They never showed us a proper reason for Shivaay's obsession with NKK and his disdain of middle-class people and his over blown pride. They have just made him arrogant coz they wanted one arrogant male lead in the mix. No proper back story given. That is why I cant connect to him. You might. That's fine, but I dont.
