Was talking of equality in terms of class, social status, upbringing and common likes. In that case, SaaJun, atm at least, seem more equal that ArYa.
For ArYa, it will always be in the back of Arjun's mind that it was Maya who has brought him to the level he is at, and her dialogue in the balloon that if she could bring him up, she could bring him down as quickly.
