Why has Ranveer become outsider?

Every newcomer who enters this industry tries to find friend or develops relation in this industry. It could be transient or permanent. But they try. Parineeti hardly opens her mouth before she utters name of her badi didi. And here we have ranveer who is nephew by law to Anil. Cousin to Sonam and Harsh. So why is it he has decided to become outsider? Is it because he is not happy with kapoors? Or is it something that happened when he met Outsider Deepu? Or is it because he is friends with Arjun - who is hardly a picture of secured insider.

Any thoughts?

He likes to portray an image of "coming from nowhere and made it in BW".
Sonam and Anil never acknowledged RS as their relative. I guess it's coz no one must have thought that he will make it in BW.
It's strange that Harsh chants RK's name in his interviews but never takes RS's name, that too after RS did a Bajirao .

RK's cousins should also be counted as outsiders!!

Every newcomer peddles a romantic journey ..No one is poor either ..Not Kangana,Nawaz,RS or even DP.

Her maternal grandfather has a seafacing house at Peddar road..which is higher priced than Bandra area.She mentions that she too wanted a sea facing home ,because of her childhood memories..People were very upset back then that Prakash Padukone married his wealthy cousin from Mumbai.She did have a Mumbai connection even though she lived alone.

Sonam hardly acknowledge him as her cousin n Anil started taking his name after BM nhe dint get fim offer bcoz of his bw connection n nobody is serving him anything on platter like super flop bw kids!!
