Trailer is Ok! Adi Shraddha chemistry looks awesome! ⭐️
But compared to OKK.. this Hindi one doesn't even hold a candle to it.

After I read some of the responses on this thread, I searched Ok Kanmani on Netflix and lo and behold it was there! I don't speak Tamil but I loved it. It was amazing! I doubt this will match to the brilliance of that. Even though, on its own, before watching Ok Kanmani, I liked the trailer of this one too.

the reason the tamil one was a hit is beacuse the actors were brilliant in it and there were no scenes like this

I kinda liked the trailer but they revealed many scenes from start to end of the movie. The song lyrics doesn't give any lively vibes as in the original. I think Adi can be charming as Adi but that depends on the dialogues and the direction..wonder how it will turn out. Will catch up on TV when they air.

BW now starting to use Makar Sankranti as well? Looks like all festivals and national holidays are done.

This is the thing with having watched originals

AR Rahman's music is AMAZING all the time, but when its dubbed in Hindi and you actually understand Hindi, it sounds so freaking weird.

Same thing with Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya album

I guess this is what Tamil-speaking folk have been feeling for a very long time 😆

I'm pretty much here just for the songs, I do hope the Hindi dubbed album won't be as cringe as I'm expecting.

ARK and Shradha don't seem to bad to me- I'm not a big Nithya fan (a bit of an over-actor), but I don't like the over-sexualization

Dulquer and ARK to me are equal levels of hotness so I'm kinda sold in that department

Tbh, I didn't think it was as bad as I expected it to be having seen the original. I didn't like the over sexualization gets but Adi-Shraddha have good chemistry. I feel there was much more to OKK than them just having sex all the time & the trailer hides that part.

Adi is charming.. I liked that they didn't blatantly copy the OKK trailer (though that trailer is much much better on the whole). Shraddha I feel needs more work on her dialogues..kachcha chaba jaaongi was bad. I don't expect this movie to match the original in any way but it at least seems watchable. AR Rahman's music sounds so weird dubbed in Hindi lol..

Side note: I do think AdiC was heavily inspired by OKK when he set out to make Befikre..but then he is no Mani Ratnam.
