I havent seen OKK and OKJ trailer or songs have done nothing to me. But I personally prefer subtle romance. Though I feel its very difficult to write and enact subtle romance. Thats why BW takes the easy way out of kissing and sex scenes to portray romance.

See, it's hard to explain the vision or idea I have in mind 😆

By gestures I meant body language, nothing more.

If you are talking about the screen blurring/clothes dropping - then it's only to clearly pass the message to audience that the relationship between the couple or should I say, two adults/people has reached the stage.(consummated?)

I say this remembering the fact that there are pre-marital intimacies and indulgences shown in movies. In case the man-woman are married IMO, no need to show screen-fading/clothes dropping either... but that's just my opinion.

Besides, by screen-blurring I just meant how the scenes are shown, like screen fading on couple's kiss - romantically, but not censor blur.

what did you think by "all these gestures" ?

but why we have to pass messages of screen blurring and clothes dropping to the audience instead of directly showing what's going on??? if it's a romantic movie or scene and the director wants to show romance through intimacy then it's hampering his creativity which is not right.

by gestures I meant what u thought, screen fading and clothes dropping.

@Luna --- I am not a fan of showing too much intimacy not because there are children around. I have myself grown up watching love-making scenes with my family since I can remember! I don't believe in love-making scenes having negative affect on kids, because it didn't have any on me. But that is a different matter altogether.

But I say that purely from the POV that it's unnecessary - unnecessary to go beyond a certain level. It doesn't look aesthetic/tasteful to me, in my eyes. Besides, that is the point of subtlety, leaving more to imagination(or rather saving the time to show something better).. to not show in-your-face kinda romance :p

And thankyou.. yes, other gestures of love should be focused upon.

yes, intimate scenes unnecessary most of the time in movies nowadays...makers just throw intimate scenes to sell their movie and I'm also against it...but if the movie or scene is romantic and the director wants to show intimacy instead of subtle romance then he should show how he wants to show...I also said in my previous reply that it will hamper the creativity and vision of the director if he'll try to restrict himself...for example: befikre, the movie was crap and I've still not watched it but I heard that the intimate scenes were part of the story and if the director wouldn't have shown those then it would have effected the storyline.(sorry if i'm wrong)..

.I've not watchj the south version of OK jaanu, so I don't know whether the intimate scenes were the part of the story or not, so I can't say.

but ultimately it's ur choice...If u don't find intimate scenes aesthetic then it's ur choice...I 'm okay with both type of romance but it shouldn't be OTT.
