TaaRey OS~ Mitwa (Aur Ek Baar)
Hellooo! :D I heard the song Mitwa after a long gap and it ended up triggering memories and an idea I had thought of long ago. I haven't been able to update since I was going through a writer's block and loss of connect. I apologise to all my readers..
I really hope you guys will enjoy reading if I start updating again.

For now presenting this One Shot. It goes back to the time when Taani is no more in Rey's life and Kria has just returned from the US (for which time I do not know). The D3 gang obviously think he has moved on, but has he? 😉
Rey sat in the canteen with his friends.His mind though couldn't focus on the food in front of him, while the gang relished their meals. He found himself lost in thoughts. Thoughts he had long buried.Today, they had come to the surface with vengeful force.
"Rey??" Kria called him.
He gave no response, his fingers holding a fork which aimlessly drew circles on his plate. The gang looked at him surprised.
"Rey?" Kria shook him by his shoulders.
"Haa..haan?" He asked, his reverie breaking.
"Aap thik toh hai?" she questioned gently.
"Yeah."he gave a small smile.
"Toh kuch khaa kyu nahi raha? Practise karna hai dude. You need strength." Swayam said.
"Bhook nahi hai bro. Chill. Tumlog khatam karo. Main aata hun." he replied and walked away.
"Isey hua kya hai?" Sharon wondered.
Rey had no idea as to where he was heading. He let his feet take him to the Rehersal Hall. Looking around, his eyes rested on a tile of the side wall. Knowing the gang would take some more time before they came here for practise, he ran his hands over its edges. Prying it open gently, he gazed into the familiar space known only to him. None of the others knew nor would they ever find out.
Picking up the frame from where it rested, he stared at it numbly, hundreds of moments playing in his mind clearly. Not even a single memory was vague. Not that he had expected it to be. When it came to her, he very well knew nothing could be erased. He had stopped trying. His fingers traced her face at their own pace as a tear trickled down his eyes, a smile playing on his lips. He was used to these conflicting emotions. Of Peace and Pain.
Today, however, strangely he felt the peace overpower the pain. They had always had a connection difficult to put in words, for mere words never justified the connect their souls had. He had always been able to sense her presence even if she wasn't in front of his eyes. He had been able to feel her pain, even when she never uttered a syllable. She too had been able to, even more strongly than him.
That intuition seemed to tell him, she was there. Somewhere in his close vicinity. For once, though he refused to believe. She had gone her own way. Why would she return? He closed his eyes, trying to shush his inner voice. But inner voices are meant to be listened to, they never listen to us. Its murmurs grew louder until he was forced to open his eyes.
"Could this be true?" he thought. "Is she actually here?" he looked down at the frame in his hands.
A wave of excitement took over him as he let his intuition guide him. Returning the tile to its original place, he moved out smiling to himself, for a reason unknown yet known to him.

He picked up his guitar lying in the RH and moved out as he began singing that one song, which best defined their journey toward Love.

The melody the strings of his heart generated, seemed to fill the air with musical vibrations as everyone stared in surprise.
Mitwa..kahe dhadkanein tujhse kya! Mitwa.. yeh khudse toh na tu chupa..

Students began joining him pulling out their own instruments even as he was lost in his own world.

The D3 gang stepped out of the canteen hearing Rey's voice, only to find him smiling and singing, oblivious to his surroundings. As for him, the unbridled joy of his soul had taken over completely.
*Music*
He performed a few steps with the other students and winked at Swayam who was the first one to make his way down to the Atrium.
Gama pani nisa..gama pada dani..nida dama padama..Mitwa..
He moved out into the grounds with a crowd following him, the gang right behind him.
Jeevan dagar mein..prem nagar mein..aaya nazar mein, jabse koi hai!
He sang, visualizing her face as soothing as it had always been. On the other side, a girl stepped into a cab.
Tu sochta hai..tu puchta hai, jiski kami thi..kya yeh wohi hai? Haan yeh wohi hai, haan yeh wohi hai! Tu ik pyaasa, aur yeh nadi hai. Kaahe nahi isko tu khulke bataye..
He picked up a child and twirled her around. As she laughed, his heart heard Taani's laughter.
The girl looked out at the world from the cab's window, her eyes a deep brown. Her lips curved in a smile.
Joh hai unkahi..joh hai unsuni..woh baat kya hai bata! Mitwa..kahe dhadkanein tujhse kya! Mitwa..yeh khudse toh na tu chupa!
As everyone around him lost themselves in the infectious music, the gang couldn't make head or tail of what was happening. He moved toward Sharon and did two steps with her only to her surprise.
*Music*
He did the same with Kria and the rest of the girls, who were equally flabbergasted. But he did not care, rather he wasn't in his senses. It was as if something from deep within had intoxicated him.
Ohooo..teri nigaahein, paa gayi raahein..par tu yeh sochein, jaaun na jaaun. Yeh zindagi joh hai naachti toh, kyu bediyon mein hai tere paaon!
Those times when she had given him direction in her prayers which had been unknown to him, when he had refused to accept what he felt for her, came back to him.
As the cab neared St Louis, memories as fresh as ever, filled her mind. As her soul sensed his presence, the conflict in her heart seemed to vanish.
Udta agar hai..udne de aanchal! Kahe koi apne ko aise tarsaaye..joh hai unkahi, joh hai unsuni..woh baat kya hai bata..
The smile came back to his face..as he recollected the love that they had shared, which gave his existence a meaning even today.
Her cab halted outside St Louis college. Balloons flew high into the air and the smell of fresh flowers added to the already exuberant atmosphere.

Rey sang, going toward the boys, putting his arms around them and giving them a push. His heart suddenly faced both joy and peace.
The girl stepping out of her cab, heard his voice. Her heart filled with a weird mix of trepidation and longing pulled her feet toward its owner. She had returned, but would things be the same? She didn't have any expectations for all she had ever wished for, was happiness.

He continued moving backward with his arms wide open, his back facing the figure approaching him. She clashed with him, causing him to turn around to steady her. All went calm as they faced each other.
Love will find a way..jaaniye heeriye..Love will find a way..
Rey held Taani in arms as the pair of deep brown orbs looked into the hazel ones. The two lovers stared at each other, contentedly as the gang looked on in complete shock.
Love will lead the way.. Mitwa.. love will find a way..!!
Love had once again found its way as destiny had reunited the two soul-mates.
Helloo!!😆 Sorry for this bakwaas. 😛 I am glad I could finally write something again though! Guess, my love for writing also found its way back. 😳
