Why Shivaay Why??

Watching today's episode and seeing each Oberoi member's reaction, I sat back and wondered as I wondered on the day of the marriage:- Can just the need to protect his khandaan ki izzat make a person go to such great lengths?

His ego was on his head that day and the jealousy of Annika spending one night with Daksh has been mixed together and he turned into a monster.(my pov)

A person pushed against the wall can do strange things.

I don't really understand why shivay did this the sudden change in him at the point when he heard about anika sleeping with daksh had turned him into into a some what monster but why??
Firstly he knew about his feelings for anika and that there was something between them but he still went with his brain he thought about the profit he will be making if he marries tia and CHOSE to go along with his wedding not only that he made sure he purposed to ''tis in front of anika just to let her know he doesn't care about his feelings.

Secondly he kept reminding anika that tia was his wife to be and therefore his family and he will not tolerate hearing anything against her

Thirdly he was the one who purposed to anika on daksh's behalf and when anika accepted his purposel shivay didn't still admit that he liked her and when daksh told shivay about his suhagraat plan shivay didn't tell her that but just forced her to go home

Then coming to the money point if she wanted to make easy money then why didn't she just take the blank cheaque from shivay instead of risking loosing everything and as far as sleeping with daksh Is concerned they were a couple at the time so it's none of shivay's business what they do what did shivay expect he would've had to sleep with tia after marrying her which he was all set to do


So shivay you have no excuse to have turned into a monster

That was Shivaay's situation the day of the wedding.

He had been left jilted literally at the altar, and when he finds a solution, the girl that has been causing him sleepless nites, the one that had an ONS that pushed him to bring forward the marriage, the one who hurt him more than he ever thot he was capable of being hurt, let's his solution run away?!!!

Is she kidding him? The man obviously went berserk, temporarily insane. Comes from a roller coaster of emotions culminating in the possible risk to the 1 thing he holds dear beyond anything in the world, his family.

It's a wonder he didn't become permanently insane.

I have discussed this so many times with my friends.. the conclusion was shivay always felt that he knew Anika. however she said yes to marry Daksh when he said she wouldn't. She said it coz she wanted to prove to Shivay she isn't affected by him. But to him that meant he hardly knew her as much as he thought he did. Then the misunderstanding created by Daksh, it was easier for him to believe that anika could sleep with Daksh for money coz he thinks with his mind and not his heart. He was always like that.

The "ONS" with Daksh is what turned him into a monster, the thing is he does love her he still do but he's fighting with his demons.
