Why do heroine oriented films need to be perfect to be fits?

Several male-dominated films are accepted by audiences despite many flaws. But the expectations for female oriented films are rather high.. they don't succeed unless they are almost near perfect.

Sorry I mean hits and not fits

Every film should aim to be perfect 😛

Well it's a sexist society and male stars if u really see except very rarely have movies without a star actress.
So what in this sexist society is considered as male driven movies r actually movies with two star actors only that in most cases man is given more credit

And if male centric movies r made without star actresses very few of them succeed if we really see specifically for none Khan/Akshay movies

Female driven movies r different Cz as quite a few actresses have clearly said 'if the role of the male in the screenplay is shorter/smaller than the female one no A list main lead would do it'
So these female driven movies almost 100% rely on one single A list female star and thus have to be content driven in order to succeed
But at least it's a good thing that now there is a general perception coming up that female driven movies r actually quality movies and hardly turn out trashy and there is a niche audience that is slowly building. So in the long run it may be a good thing for the ladies

Times are changing now
Women centric films are doing quite well now

The reason being that we are a patriarchal society where the majority of decision are taken by men even the movie for the family. Most of the men prefare male dominated movies. This is the reason women oriented movies flop.
