Actor Kangana Ranaut shot back at claims that she has hiked her fees to Rs. 15 crore, saying no one should be bothered about how much she charges for a film.
There have been reports that the three-time National Award-winner is demanding Rs. 15 crore per film now, leaving her producers in a fix. When asked about the rumours, a defensive Kangana neither confirmed nor denied the speculation. "How much I charge is no one's business. It is only for me to know," the 29-year-old actor told reporters here.
If Kangana at all gets paid the staggering amount for her next project, it will make her the highest-paid Indian female actor dethroning her contemporary Deepika Padukone, who earned the title after charging Rs. 12 crore for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming magnum opus Padmavati. Currently, Kangana has three projects in the pipeline " Vishal Bhardwaj's Rangoon, Hansal Mehta's Simran and Ketan Mehta's Rani Lakshmi Bai.

Kangana interacted with the media on the sidelines of Blenders Pride Fashion Show by ace designer Manish Arora. The actor, who turned showstopper for the designer, looked stunning in a heavily embellished pink-and-green lehenga choli worn with a shrug.
This was the first time Manish had a Bollywood actor as his showstopper and the designer said he could not think of anyone else but Kangana. "I am not this type of person (who would have an actor as showstopper). The fact that I am standing with an actress today is different for me. I am not okay with this generally but today I am fine," he said after praising Kangana's know-how of fashion.
Manish said he was surprised she knew a lot about clothes and their aesthetics. To which Kangana jokingly replied, "You thought I knew nothing about fashion! All designers think actresses don't know anything about fashion.
The Tanu Weds Manu Returns star called the fashion show the highest point of 2016 for her.
"Manish is my favourite Indian designer and I am the first actress, who is walking for him. He is very snooty. So, this is the highest point of 2016 for me. I didn't have any film release this year so, it is an achievement to walk for Manish. The collection is beautiful. It is Indian yet contemporary," she said.
