This is what I feel happened in today's task, Plz give in your input on the so called "strategy"

Gaurav and most likely Rahul had thought of getting the commoners nominated as they were in minority and getting one of them evicted and make themselves esp the boys from their group safe.

unfortunately when Rahul nominates Manveer, he does the same and so gets nominated. Now if they get a weak contestant nominated with them, chances of that person getting evicted is high so gaurav asked Bani to nominate Niti as her chances in comparison is higher.

Now if Mona gets into the nomination mix, Nitibha's chances of getting evicted becomes lesser as maybe they thought Mona too is a weak contestant.

so gaurav changed his mind and wanted himself in the mix so that again Nitibha's chances of getting evicted or even Manveers are higher.

in the end, they wont be disappointed as somewhere their plan kind of worked as Nitibha's chances of getting evicted is higher as the people in her nomination pool are mostly celebs.

But then I strongly feel Rahul's time is up. If BB manipulates as always, it will be Rahul this week.

In all this plotting, relationships and loyalties took a backseat and a beating.

Hope I explained my theory, whats yours?

Considering your theory as true why Gaurav believed that If Rahul will nominate Manveer and Bani will nominate Nitibha then Manveer and Nitibha will not return the favor.. ???

I think that is where it backfired while Rahul was prepared for it maybe Bani was clueless on it and just acted out one plan without thinking how it would come to hurt her as well.

I think when the celebs were plotting to eliminate the commoners, the format of the nomination process was not announced nor had baba gotten his immunity. the celebs had probably made plans to take any two commoner names in a confession room setting. but their plan backfired when it became an open nomination

Yep I agree - and Tina's theory makes a lot of sense. It explains G's change of mind regarding nominating Mona. The plan was definitely to try and get as many of the commoners nominated as possible - of course Baba getting immunity, the task, and Bani choosing to nominate Lopa messed with that, and had Gaurav in particular, running around like a headless chicken trying to fix it. And I think he knows that Bani would get more votes than Niti, but wanted himself nominated instead, because he was responsible for Bani nominating Niti.

OK makes sense now.. Agree with ur analysis mostly..except y should Bani feel bad..she's safe just like Gaurav would be even if he had gotten nominated..unless Bani n others don't think she's strong enough..so it's really btw Rahul n Nithiba now..n if Nithiba plays a love angle with Manveer..then goodbye Rahul... So their plan worked anyways..if Rahul had nominated Gaurav instead.. Then it would have been proper strategy n maybe Manveer would have nominated Rohan n it would he been a whole diff scenario..Rahul should have waited n watched..

yeah all the celebs, except perhaps rahul, are safe, and they know that. it's this confidence that is making them stick their necks out during nomination. but had gaurav not gone back on his word and had nominated mona, then the final list would have been different, with nitibha and mona fighting it out.
rahul, being the patient and calm one, should have waited.. but I think he was egged on by gaurav to take the initiative. why couldn't gaurav have nominated manveer to begin with?!! or why didn't he nominate nitibha himself? his reason for the men not nominating nitibha was quite lame, imo

I think Gaurav did intend to nominate Mona - in which case Rahul, him and Bani would've each nominated one person. The whole thing turned on it's head when he changed his mind about nominating Mona.

Gaurav didnt want to look the bad guy. So usne bani n rahul ko aage kiya. As someone mentioned it shiuld have been gaurav who nominated manveer not rahul. Already rahul is called off on being invisible n babysitter. Whatever.people say i like rahul n hope niti goes. If people like pri n baba can stay than i want my apple guy.
