For me it's not about her promoting it. It's about Srk standing up against hate. I know how feels because he talked about it years ago so for him to go against what he truely feels is surprising but still a huge fan of his and Let's hope raees is blockbuster hit ⭐️

I don't know about how IF members would have reacted but the Indian audience would have boycotted the film and called him Pak lover/anti national/ terrorist etc.
And yeah ,goons would have pelted stones at his house and the theaters running Raees.

I am actually surprised seeing the reactions of the 'patriots' of this forum.

They wanted ADHM to get banned because of a Pakistani actor and now they are bashing SRK for not calling a Pakistani actress to India.

As u said,if SRK had invited Mahira then these same members would have called him anti-national who gave more importance to his movie than his country. And then there would be boycotts again...
