I know aaj kuch log episode ko criticise karenge ki koi doctor ko kyu nahi dekhata, ki sona dumb hai ki yeh sab drama ki liye hai

But for me I liked the episode and didn't feel it was high on the drama quotient, agree ishwari went overboard but I think it was genuine happiness today even if only due to becoming grandmother.

But what I loved was the subtler things.

Like dev's expressions when he first saw his whole family together happy, when he touched both ma and baba's feet, when he asked sona what magic he had done that their whole family had come together... It showed how aware they are that their families are still not fully accepting of each other and how much they want Just that.

And even the two families... Today they talked just like a normal family, teasing and laughing with each other. It showed they really are not that different but just need to sit down and talk try to gel with other. It's just there so much of context and bitterness from the separation that gets manifested into things like veg and non veg. I really hope they understand this.

They looked so happy and comfort today.

And dev... Today with his dialogue that ma was sending her to take out his clothes and the slight flicker in his expression when ishwari was pampering sona... Shows he is painfully aware that there is some distance BTW the two still... He also right away asked sona on the phone if some phone if something had happened with his mom... So he notices this but god knows why never reacts!!!...khair koi nahi woh din bhi ayega!!

And the last scene... Kaha tha na yeh rulaega!!

When sona gave him the news... A myriad of emotions flicked through his face in second.

He was happy, then shocked and confused as news had not settled in and finally seeing everyone specially mom and sona happy was close to stattered. And shaheer... Emoted perfectly!!!!!!

Worst part him not having anyone to share it with...

Get ready guys... For some time I think it will be only us crying with him!

Loved the episode!!

Aur jo log test ke baat ko leke gussa hai...rewuest hai pls yaar yeh daily soap hai, fiction... Itna drama toh maf ho hi sakta hai na??...and u know it won't last two days or Max a week...

Pls bhul jao na and enjoy pls???

why do i get this feeling that there will be a lot of scenes without Dev / sona in the coming days due to Shaheer being out of India.. this absence may be forcing the CVs to think up situations which do not need his presence..

I completely agree with you on the subtlety part where Dev is shown to be wondering at the bonding between Ishwari and Sona.. Deep down he is aware of the coldness of his mom towards Sona ( he knows that Sona is a very warm towards his mom.. he is concerned about his mom)

and what about Neha? what is going on in her troubled head?

I liked today's episode but it left me with some deep thoughts as well. Ishwari was looking genuinely happy, in fact the whole Dixit clan. I liked their bonding on the dining table and they were looking truly as a family.

Dev's expressions were superb throughout the episode. He was happy seeing the bonding between two families and his mother and wife which he always wanted. But the reason for it changed everything. He was shocked, confused and scared. The change in his expressions were brilliant and subtle. Shaheer did a brilliant job while emoting perfectly. He alone knows the truth and wanted to capture the moment because it may be short lived for him and their families. He was praying for the miracle while watching everyone celebrating and at the same time was scared of the truth.

What i was thinking is the scenario that will occur when the truth will be revealed. Expressions will be changed, smiles will fade away and tears will roll down, blessings will be changed into taunts and happiness will be wiped away into sadness. Its gonna be a contrasting environment totally.

About the test, well it would have been more practical to show them taking it at home. And so much of celebration on behalf of a "doubt" was pretty too much. May be cvs don't wanna take the pregnancy route and this was an alarming bell for Dev and to create some tensions between Devakshi. Lets see what happens in future.

What actually disturbed me is that a woman's position is only valued when she becomes a mother. She has no value for any other role. I really felt bad at this thought. Sona was treated as a princess because she will be giving good news. Love and affection was limited to it only.

Motherhood is a "part" of woman's life not "whole" life.

Today was a good episode seeing the Bose and Dixit families together even Dev was surprised at this then seeing his maa so loving towards Sona this something that he had always wanted but today its for the wrong reason and Dev is placed once again in an awkward situation how will he handle this knowing his wife's truth

the worst will be the taunts the Dixit ladies throw at Sona the pain she'll go through

if for some reason Sona cannot conceive she be devastated but again it will have to be Dev supporting her giving her his strength

Yes! This track has potential for great performances no doubt. And they did it and will continue to excel in the coming episodes. Great performances all around. Erica was great and Shaheer was perfection - the way his expressions went from disbelief on seeing both families happy, to happy in those cute moments with his wife to absolute shock on hearing the news was tremendous. But the most tremendous expression had to be the one where he was concealing his disbelief, fear and shock under the guise of the smiles. It was chilling and heartbreaking simultaneously.
