I think Dev will protect Sona this time around. The CVs indeed have been trying to show certain old scenes with changed dynamics in the recent times. Therefore, this time around, when the crisis strikes, we will see a different Dev from the previous one who crumbled to let his mother's will rule. This track is for Dev to question his mother when she is wrong without the influence of alcohol.

Not looking forward to infertility track , atleast not so soon.

There's too much chaos right now with many sub plots stuck - Neha divorce, Riya wedding, Dada n Sona's business, Vicki Elena married life. So to introduce a major track like this wud change the whole equation. This track wud hit so powerfully that Sona wud be devastated n hence can't focus on business, resolve Riya Ayan issue, improve her relationship with Neha.

Also this track wud be make or break situation for both Dev n Ish n has to be handled very sensitively. If Dev is more worried for Ish tht she can't get grandkids ...n Dev doesn't properly support Sona and separation happens bcoz of Ish or Dev, then the show is over for me. If Dev even let Ish talk abt remarriage, then goodbye to the show. If this track doesn't lead to Ish's realisation . .then Dev n Sona have to move out of Ishwari Nivasm

As everyone pointed out , the start has nt been good with Sona all happy without even pregnancy test or doctor's consultation. She is a doctor for crying out loud. N as per spoiler Dev wud blurt out the truth infront of everyone which wud b a cruel thing to do even if its unintentional. He shud realise that its high time he has to reveal the truth to Sona n not go to his Ma first.

Another point to note is that Dev is aware abt Sona's medical condition but Sona doesnt, so how come they r still getting ahead with it without protection ...as they dnt hav intention to start a family.

This track wud consume all the sub plots...but the story wud remain sad till d point Dev n Sona actually have a child by themselves or surrogacy or adoption. It wud be difficult to show Dev n Sona romance or light hearted moments when the truth is out in the open.

And lastly introduction of this track in such a rushed manner makes me think show is going get over soon.

Oh man u haven't seen Byomkesh Bakshi..watch it..all episodes on YouTube. its brilliant .

Absolutely! I think we all want it well-handled. It is a sensitive subject and it deserves sensible treatment.

I feel sona is pregnant and maybe when they meet the doctor he qould prob advise to terminate the pregnancy considering sonas mmedical background.

Sona may not want to do that and dev would not want sona's life in danger and would ask her to terminate the pregnancy. Sona and dev would eventually decide to carry the baby to term and obviously they would hide it from their families..

The remaining episodes would be dedicated to how they stand by each other thru this pregnancy and maybe with their baby being born the story would come to a logical end

Dev wouldn't do anything that endangers Sona's life. To him Sona is his life and children are secondary. and this shown through his decision to hide the fact from Sona because he feared that she would back off from their marraige.

I am not sure how CVs will handle it but I feel they will do a good job coz this track to central to the entire plot now.
