I love that udaan actually portrays badass women like Imli and Chakor who can fight and actually save men. They have guns and KNOW how to use it. Rare to see on indian tv as most bahus give empty threats but these women will actually kick your butt 👏

Yeah I really like this about Udaan...chakor and Imli are really kick ass ladies, for a change these FL don't fill buckets with their tears, but rather fight for what is right. And they don't mind kicking some ass also in the process

This serial has mostly been about strong women. Even before leap, characters like Tejaswani, Kasturi, young Chakor were very strong female characters but at the same time this serial at times has demeaned women too. Instances such as dancing girls, chir haran, marital rape, teenage pregnancy..all this stuff is like a put off.

True, there are cases where women have been made to seem inferior and used but i do hope they continue to show strong women

Agreed Siddy but those things happen for real. The fact that Udaan women overcome this and come out stronger it the best thing.

I second you.
What is right or wrong, the charaterization apart, I like that both Chakor and Imli do not hesitate to pick up a gun and use AND not have a lousy aim lol. There's nothing wrong with both the FL and ML being badasses.
