Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi : Being Generous Isn't Always The Way Ahead
I will continue my story of the King and Servant yet again today. For those who didn't read the story yesterday, can read it here - ( Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi : Some Times You Learn The Right Things From The Wrong Men)
So the king continued to remain silent but the audacity of the servant impressed him. In fact, the king granted him more freedom and gold for his brave talks. However, this didn't make the servant appreciate the king. He thought of him as a fool and thought of grabbing more riches and advantages from the king.
The servant understood that the king loved the queen. So at regular interval, despite not thinking very highly about the queen, he said good and smart things about the queen to the king, which made the king very happy and proud. The servant identified that it is the easiest route to win over the king.
The king loved his queen and appreciated her but he never found many people at the royal household who appreciated the queen like he did. But when he found another one doing the same, he was immediately impressed. It didn't cross his mind that probably the servant was faking it.
One day the servant cried his heart out to the king saying how he too loves his wife and wants her to feel like the queen of his heart. However, the more he tries to make her feel like that, the more he fails. The king being the emotional fool, offered to give his own private garden where he spent time with the queen to the servant for one night so that he also is able to make his wife feel like the queen of his heart.

The servant was more than happy as his plan succeeded to live the royal life for one day while the king left the place with his queen for one night (temporarily)
Moral Of The Story - Yesterday I had been watching Ishqbaaz. In the show the grandmother of the male protagonist finds another girl in his room whom he has not married. But the girl whom he had married was outside his room. The grandmother says a line to her grand daughter in law (Anika) then, "You should never ever leave your own space to anyone" (Apni jagah kisi aur ke liye kabhi nahi chodte).
I will give the same lecture to Dev and Sonakshi here. It was Vickey's plot to spend the night in the best room of the house and Dev and Sona just fell in that trap. That was their first step towards foolishness. Vickey is the kind of person whose demands will never stop if he is not stopped from demanding.
Here are my small letters to each of the characters of the show as per yesterday's episode -
Dear Elena - Are you really the Elena we had known since the time the show started? I remember you once got lost in the streets of Delhi just because you went out in search of Mr. Aubhodro's office, who had once broke your sister's cell phone and you wanted to teach him a lesson because had dared to make your sister cry the whole night.
And here you are, who just didn't even think twice before getting your own sister out of her own room just because your good for nothing husband wanted that room for himself for the night. You hurt your family, now you lied to your sister, got her out of her room, all for your husband Vickey. What more drama we can expect from you Elena?
Dear Maami Ji - We pity you. But then you had sown the seeds of trouble yourself. That line your son uttered to you yesterday, Bahu Jaayegi To Beta Bhi Jaayega' is just the beginning. You will get more such wonderful lines from him in future. Be ready. You have always been a selfish woman and you have brought up your son as a selfish man as well. He will just give you back your own investment with interest this time. Your investment is your selfishness. Now think how it will turn out to be if its is returned with more interest.
Dear Dev - I seriously have one suggestion and two questions for you. First I will ask you the questions. Which brand's AC do you have installed in your room? As it never stops working whereas every other room's AC stops working in your house. Next is, is your bedroom is dharamshala? Everyone seems to think of your room like that only as the moment an AC stops working, they simply come to your room seeking refuge. It's kind of weird to digest.
Lastly, no matter how much your family claim to love you Dev. The truth is very bitter. You are their sole bread earner. Your duty is to give them a luxurious life and to keep them happy. But truth is that, they can't see you happy if they are not a part of that happiness of yours. They can't see you stay in luxury if they feel they are having anything less than what you have. There's a limit to being generous Dev. Don't give so much that one day you are left with nothing to give. Even Modi's ATM machines failed to meet all the demand and here you are, a living ATM machine who just never fails to be generous.
P.S:- And did you know your face just lights up like a bulb the moment someone praises your wife in front of you? Stop doing that. Vickey has found out that weakness of yours and that doesn't make us much happy to be honest.
