Today's episodes must remind one of DDLJ 2
The setting is fields with the tanga driving in between. Armaan and bebe are sitting in the front while jassi and bua at the back. Armaan is busy smiling laughing and playing with them repeatedly chanting balle balle. This is when bebe asks if he has come alone and armaan says that when the person he wants is next to him, how could he be alone?
Bua- sabji.
Armaan – please don't call me saabji call me armaan
Bua- ok ok how did you know where to find harminder saab?
Bebe – who doesn't know harminder saab…but how did armaan know that he would find us there?
Armaan – well I knew you must all be going there to pray and I know jassi must be going there to complain about me…
At the house
Billu and amrit greet them….and bebe shows them the surprise (armaan suri)
He is wearing a lovely white cotton kurta …billu asks him how come he was dressed like them and he repeats that ' one must cultivate good habits'
Billu – no one else came?
Armaan tries escaping this question by misleading them. Lots of introductions go around ….however, jassi is still sulken…
The buas are frantically trying to please their daamaad ordering for lassi and chaman taking the suitcase etc etc..but armaan shoos them re-assuring them that he is not their guest…(lol Nandu is actually wearing a banyan-lungi at this point)
When worried where he will sleep, armaan vouches to sleep in the terrace with Nandu (Chaman says 'oh DDLJ srk style )
All are busy teasing each other and then disperse when armaan asks jassi
Armaan – how are you? (chooo chweet playing with her dupatta )
Jassi (angry) how do you think I will be – obviously angry for what you have done…
Armaan – I apologised for it…so please atleast give me the answer…..
Someone calls ……
ILA
ILA (over phone) to mallika – omg what has armaan done? He has left for Amritsar…shall we all also start for Amritsar?
Mallika – no we need not do anything of the sort…(wait for jassi's new ad campaign to come) ill come there now – don't worry
CUTEST SCENE
Armaan is feeding a cow with Nandu when ahaaa beauty comes there
Nandu who is in banyan hurriedly puts his shirt on shoddily and armaan notices the long lost expression on nandu's face…
Beauty – I brought some soap for the saabji
Armaan – whos this kudi?
Nandu – shes beauty
Armaan (all smiles on nandu's shoulder) – that I can see but I want to know her actual name
Nandu – that's the speciality of Punjabis – the name always suits the personality
The bua comes and is shocked to see armaan spoiling his dress with this dirty job of feeding the cows…when armaan instead impresses her saying that he wants to drink some lassi and adds that he will make it for all …..
Yashoda ka kanhaiyya armaan is busy making lassi the traditional way and the buas are totally impressed with his latkaas and jhatkaas when he churnes the pot …
(billu and amrit standing from a distance see the whole spectacle and truly realise that armaan is not like the rest of the family. They appreciate jassi's choice and acknowledge she is lucky..only if the rest of the family were not like this……)
PURAB
purab frantically trying to locate jassi calls her mobile which is attended by chaman…
purab – wheres jassi
chaman – outside in the fields
purab – what? Fields? (poor guy didn't know jassi had gone to Amritsar….he must have been thoroughly shocked by this answer). Can you please tell her purab mehra called and ask her to call back?
ADULT VIEWERSHIP ONLY
Armaan is having bath in a pump reservoir tank jumping around mandakini style ….hes jus wearing a banyan and flimsy white pyjamas…..
First one bua comes, sees this, hides & stands there dumbstruck
Followed by next bua
Followed by bebe (tch tch)
Followed by amrit
All standing like zombies, giggling, watching the poor armu doing his daily routines…..tch tch….
Jassi then comes there and when she sees this starts blushing left right and centre…
The oldies are teasing that he looks like a sona munda and that they will feed him makhan and make him even fairer…..baaaaaaaaam
They see jassi and ask her to close her eyes as she is too young to watch ADULT material
CHAMAN
Chaman (idiot) instead of telling jassi that purab had called for her strays into fimly talk and ultimately remembers 'behenji some purab paschim called for you'
PURAB
Evil evil roy comes to purab's office with his laptop and purab asks him to show the photos that are ready…he tries evading the question as far as he can but purab is adamant that he wants to see the photos….just in time to save his ass (how convenient), jassi's phone comes (purab all smiles ) – the signal is very poor and so purab's message that jassi must be present for the press conference tomorrow is not conveyed properly ….roy slips away ….
ILA
Ila all tears swears left right and centre at jassi for stealing her son away from her.
Mallika – what armaan did was very wrong
Anjali- after all that's my bro (right, like we didn't know all these days )…so he'll come back
Ila still sobbing and sobbing cursing jassi.
Anjali tells her mom – let them get engaged and come back here, u just see what I do to that jassi
Mallika (her evil smile) – when jassi's re-launch occurs everything will become alright.
Right at this time the phone comes from roy telling mallika that work has been done and is ready for display………
TERRACE
Armaan comes to jassi with a pigeon and again requests her to answer but again someone calls for them
NIGHT-TIME
(parental guidance viewing permitted)
all guys are sleeping on charpoys downstairs while the girls sleeping upstairs on the terrace. Armaan cannot get a wink of sleep and disturbs Nandu.
Nandu – if you cannot get sleep why don't you take sleeping pills
Armaan – no please be serious
Nandu – then why don't you do what has to be done (OMG. …what did he mean? .) if beauty was sleeping here next to me …I wouldn't be sleeping here but there next to her (oooo…)
Armaan (thank God he got the hint atleast now ) goes upstairs (in the same white kurta) and plays a guessing game (as all of them are asleep covering their faces)
He knocks on the wrong charpoy first (LOL ) and a hand comes out of the blanket indicating the next charpoy.
He goes to jassi and she wakes up with a start (Jprasad – sounds familiar?? )..he shushes her and asks her for the answer…he says that there wouldn't be a more beautiful place and moment than this – even the moon and stars want to know the answer …….jassi again tries to evade the answer while armaan starts shouting…jassi atlast (wooooh) says YES I'LL MARRY YOU….
Then he holds her face and brings her close to himself…closer .. closer… closer… closer… closer… closer… closer - ahem ahem (no its not me it's the irritating buaa)
JASMINE COLLECTION LAUNCH
Purab is making a speech about how the launch is very big and special and assures the reporters that when they see jassi they will know why its very special (oh purab )…
The reporters are getting impatient and purab constantly keeps requesting a further 2 minutes from them.
Mallika – (waaah) – so what happened purab looks like you will be waiting for ever…
Purab – why am I not surprised to see you – you gatecrasher….?
Mallika – after all I am the person who gives you support right? So why do you shoo me away? She wouldn't come
Purab – no she is never late – must be having some important work
Everyone is getting more and more impatient.
TERRACE
jassi brings handful of hay and shows it to a seated armaan….when hes lost in her..she blows the hay onto his face and he chokes …then they play a nice game of running and catching (good for jassi's weight and armaan's nerves) till the idiot chaman again comes with the phone…
Hes all embarrassed to see what his sis is doing (what'll happen if he comes to know what she was upto the previous night? )
Purab – jassi where are you? I asked you to be here in time for the conference…
Jassi – what conference? I cant come…I am in Amritsar…
Purab & jassi (both v v v upset ) purab goes to the dias and announces that jassi will not be coming….he apologises for having the press members wait
He adds ' I did hope that jassi would do the launching but as that is not possible, we will still have a grand launch….we will have boards and hoardings with lots of posters and make it a grand event'
Purab leaves…..(mallika is so happy that everythings worked according to her plan)…
Roy comes and opens the jasmine collection and everyone is literally shocked…..(they don't show the pictures)
At the same time they show the suris driving and they notice a hoarding as well
It's a huge picture of jassi in a lingerie and it says 'take Jessica on honeymoon'
Jasmine lingeries and sleepwear…..obviously they are not too happy (but anjali has got the jist)
