Parineeti C Upset over Losing Ashique -3 to Alia

As reported by BollywoodLife earlier, Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra has been finalised for the third part of much talked about Aashiqui franchise. This will be the first time Alia Bhatt is working in her home banner which is four years after her acting debut. This is also the first time Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt will be doing a movie as the only lead actors. Their first Student of The Year had Varun Dhawan for the company and their next Kapoor & Sons had Fawad Khan joining the party. So far Aashiqui 3 has just the two of them as lead. While fans and followers are excited over the casting of Alia Bhatt in the much loved musical series, there is still someone who are not happy with this decision. And that someone is none other than Parineeti Chopra. As reported by Mumbai Mirror, since the time makers announced their intention of re-visiting the world of Aashiqui for the third time, Parineeti Chopra was quite vocal about her keen interest in being the part of the film. So much so that she even informed the film's director Mohit Suri about her being a great choice as she actually can sing.

No points in guessing she was left heart broken upon learning that even after trying hard for the role she lost it out to Alia Bhatt, who's reaching new heights after the release of each and every film of her's. On the other hand Parineeti Chopra has been on a long break after the debacle of her last film Kill Dil back in 2014. She'll be making her comeback with YRF's Meri Pyari Bindu alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. It is reported that for the first time she'll be singing her own songs in the film. The film releases in May 12, 2017.

I wish they would have picked her instead of Alia; I would have been more excited about the film for sure.

Feel bad for her. She is currently going through a lean phase.

Actually aalia is fine.. real problem is sidharth. A2 real USB was chemistry n next door image of leads both of them lacks that

I really feel bad for pari. Because it's clear Alia is way ahead because of her connections, mainly KJO. Meanwhile pari is struggling with getting good projects. She really needs to come back and keep up a constant stream of films coming and then from there gain more opportunities. Sure it's a harder way, but it's better than not doing much work at all, while being extremely picky.
