Here are my thoughts... Thank you everyone for responding
I think its purpose is to show a different type of love marriage - where the kids are selfish and are not confident that they can answer and justify their love for the other in front of family. So they feel lets elope and get married -- yes it will cause tremendous pain to both families but eventually they will all forgive them and they can live happily... that is the thinking that goes behind - elope n marry case. This is exactly why i predicted vicky and elena will go this route... they are selfish and not confident. Their Love may be true but they feel it is not worth to convince the families and marry when they can cause momenary pain and get acceptance.
Kuch rang shaadi ke aise bhi... I believe makers will show different types of scenarios ...
1. Dev and Sona - They put families above their love and happily sacrifice their love before marriage or happiness after marriage if needed
2. Neha and Ranveer - They got married with everyones approval and inlaws are cool but there is difference of opinion/over demanding marriage/misunderstanding/lack of communication
3. Vicky and Elena - Elope and marry - they are selfish and you will see that they as a couple will do things even against the family... i am confident they will go on HM etc.
4. Riya and aayan - arranged marriage...hope this marriage doesnt happen... but this will be another scenario where the bride or groom has ulterior motive.. and family ignoring the signs and rushing in to marriage
From Vicky-Elena track
1. Ishwari will learn how it looks and feels when your son is actually being inconsiderate
2. GKB will learn how it feels like when her ladla beta goes against mommy's wishes - she will be forced to respect elena
3. Dev will learn how he could stand for his wife in small small things even if she doesnt make a big deal about it.
4. Sona will learn how to fight for her right .. even though she likes to be mahan
I dont think vicky and elena will turn bad or againt sona - but they will definitely have their own lifestyle which will be way different from Dev and Sona's
each couple will learn something from the other couples and same goes to their families.
