So people I am here after watching today's episode. And that is an obvious question that came to my mind.
I think Maya genuinely loves Arjun. It is completely true and heartfelt. And she is the man in the relationship,taking the first move and speaking out her heart to him.
"Tumhara plan kya hai maya?" Says panicky Arjun.
"Tumko tumse churana chahti hun Arjun" Says a love struck maya lost in his eyes.
Extending the ring she confesses her feelings,direct and to the point and Arjun is surely in for some surprises here (or should I say shock?) Arjun tries to tell her that she is his boss and he has never seen him that way and their relation is of a boss and an employee. Maya says so now change it.
"Agar main nahi badalna chahun toh?" Asks a doubtful yet confident Arjun.
Maya takes her steps backward,the ring still held afloat in in her hand and never does she move her eyes as her hands slowly crawl up to the knob of the fuel cylinder. She doesn't say a single word, doesn't threaten Arjun,no nothing.(unlike what the articles suggested). Not even her expressions change. She is all just the same,if there is anything,acceptance is all I could see. She begins to turn the knob, cutting off the supply and a fear struck Arjun blabbers several words, asks her what she is trying to do and also that he was just kidding. A smile appears on maya's face as she says, she too was. She lets go the knob and moves back towards Arjun,quite close to him as she takes the ring out of the box into her handswhen something happens to the knob again,shaking the balloon and the ring falls of maya's hands. She tries to reach out to it and almost falls but Arjun saves her in time and they share a hug and a close moment.Arjun says her life is important to him and Maya says her life is him. And then Arjun asks for some time to be able to adjust to things.
"Tum mujhe mana kar rahe ho Arjun?" Maya asks questioningly.
"Bas kuch vakta maang raha hun" Says Arjun with mixed emotions.
"Maya ka vakt tumhara hai!"
Now that was like a WU but let me come to what I want to emphasize here and why I feel Maya's love is genuine. Just because I just saw acceptance in Maya's eyes while turning the knob. She did NOT threaten Arjun or try to weaken him. It was not like she was trying to kill him,she was trying to kill them.She just wanted to end both of their lives,yes both of their lives because she did not want to live without Arjun and neither could she see him die. She just wanted him,wanted them to be together,if not in life,in death. Yes that could be obsession, yes she wanted him at any cost but that doesn't mean she could see him suffer or die. Maybe the reason she wanted to kill them both was because she would hate herself for harming him?
After her troubled past Arjun was someone who brought back her happiness, gave her strength to stand up for herself and cared for her always from the bottom of his heart,what more does a girl need to fall for a guy? And I really feel for maya, I want someone for her who would love her and cure her, wipe off her miseries and give her the love she deserves.
Koi mujhko yun mila hai jaise banjare ko ghar
And regarding Arjun I think that he too does love maya somewhere but just that,he doesn't know. Why I say so you ask? In his own words, maya's life matters to him. And he himself has been saying this over and over again that maya is special to him and he always seems concerned when it comes to her. But you may also comfortably refer to that as the respect for a boss?
Okay enough said. And I know I have this habit of wandering off and getting carried away at times,lol.Thank you for bearing up with me. Just expressed my own opinion and you all are free to have your own. Please share your views on this.
