But who said that Sana will play the lead in IB??? Lead actress in the show is only Surbhi and I don't think it'll change...I don't think that any other actress can match Vrushika...and Ishkara was a magical couple and u can't expect the magic to happen again and again...pair any girl with kunal but their jodi will definitely pale in front of Ishkara and people will be disappointed.. I'm damn sure about it.

Yes exactly Sana is still not confirmed. Neither has Gul made any official announcement as yet. Sana has just been approached and it is in its very initial stage. There is no confirmation as yet. So let's chill.
But all said and done Gul can defiantly get a better actress for Omkara. Sana is no match for Kunal. I expected a more sophisticated and poised actress for Omkara, just like Shivaay is. Sana am sure is a good actress but she no way fits to play the lead for Omkara in IB. Sana has no personality, she's kind of tiny and cute but she won't even come out in front of Omkara as his lead.
Am sure Gul will realise it and take the right call. Even Priyanka ( subha Rajput ) stands out in front of Sana looks wise and personality wise. Gul can do better she is a master at doing the right casting. Omkara deserves a good FL after all this wait. A fresh face will be better, and ofcourse Gul can get someone more better then Vrushika. We have a lot of pretty faces in the TV industry.
Don't know why they are not approaching Preetika Rao I think she is a perfect match for Kunal.

well Gustakh Dil was a hindi remake of a popular Bengali show which ran for almost 4 years...so if you compare the original one and the remake one then the remake one was a flop...

also I don't want Sana with Om...nothing with the actress but I feel Kunal and Sana don't have that intense chemistry which we want to see between Om and his partner...

Hmm, I agree with you.

I looked Sana Sheikh up, and watched some videos from her old shows, and while she is pretty, I just don't know how I feel about her with Kunal.

Kunal is tall, and big, in a looming type of way and she's quite short and petite and while NarBhi and NehEesh are quite matched physique-wise, these two aren't.

While I don't agree with her not being able to do intimate scenes [if men can, why can't women? Nakuul did heated scenes with Disha after he was married, and even Surbhi was in a long-term relationship when she had to do sexual scenes with Faiz during QH], I do think she looks quite old. She's older than Surbhi even, and she looks it too.

As generalised as this may seem [please don't take this as bashing because I'm not at all], Sana isn't striking, or really enigmatic like what we imagine Om's new lead to be like. Now, if they went to all that trouble to replace Ishaana, with yet another bubbly, wild, eccentric character, then, yes, she seems to be well-suited, albeit, a lot like Annika's character. If she plays a sweet, cute character like Saumya, again, she will be well-suited. But isn't the point of Om's lead that she needs to be darker, or grey-shaded?

Sana had a sweet, 'wifely' face, so i can't really see her playing a conniving liar.

Anyhow, I'm willing to give her a chance because during the first few weeks of Ishqbaaaz, I thought Surbhi was the only downfall of the show, and now, she is my favourite character, and one of my favourite actresses.
