Lovely post 👏
You have certainly put your finger on the problem. The leads of the show needs to handled with same amount of precision so that the audience can invest in all three of them equally. But sadly that's not happening because the makers have their eyes set only on Maya. Which sometimes makes me think that in reality perhaps she is the main lead of the show while others are mere supporting actors.
As far as Sanjh and Arjun are concerned, the reason why we all are having a hard time connecting with them is because almost all of their scenes are repetitive. Some excerpts of scenes involving Saanjh:-
** Sanjh trying to wake Arjun up and pack him off to office.
** Calling him up to come and meet him so that she can tell her "maan ki baat".
** Saanjh having a fight with her dad over Arjun.
** Then a scene where they all patch up after the nasty fight.
** Some solo scenes of Saanjh where as usual she is only thinking about Arjun !!!
As you have rightly pointed it out there has to be more to a person's life than just that. You cannot make just the love of your life the sole reason for your existence? If that becomes the case then no matter what trials and tribulations you go through, people wont be able to empathize with you.
My issue with Arjun: No monologues of Arjun. Not a single one. Barring a few scenes like where he broke down in front of Saajh and Ayan in the hospital because it reminded him of some gruesome past...his altercation with his mom ...there's nothing else note-worthy to point out. No offense he seems pretty bland that way.
One more thing often times the family conversations in the show has been used as fillers since they cant show Maya's beyadhness 24/7. Sounds legit. But does that means they ALWAYS have to talk about Saanjh and Arjun? 🤢
