Sisyphus is one of the most notable character in Homer's Odessey...
He was punished to roll an immense boulder up a hill, only to watch it come back to hit him, repeating this action for eternity.

That is the very definition of futile attempt.

Sonakshi reminds me of Sisyphus.

She pushes against the prejudices, the constant insults, the verbal abuse, only to see her dignity roll down again to rock bottom and doomed to repeat this action for eternity.

I am glad that if nothing else, at least the fever knocked some senses back to Dev and he is starting to realise the way his family treats Sonakshi is atrocious. I think the timing is even more relevant since his sister is on the verge of getting married and if her in-laws treat her like his family treats Sonakshi, he knows how he will feel about it.

I am assuming he won't think ever again that his family loves Sonakshi.

Regarding Neha, regardless how difficult time she has been through, Sonakshi doesn't deserve to be her whipping boy. Sonakshi owes her nothing.

I expect Dev and her to make that clear to Neha that if she dares, knowing her mother, she can take her verbal abuse to Dev since he owes her. But then, she very well knows how her mother will react if she tries to abuse Dev, so she is picking on the one no one gives a damn about, Sonakshi.

I'll have to admit, Neha is behaving like a bully, just like her mother and Radha. They don't dare to abuse Dev, so they both take their frustration out on Sonakshi.

I hope Dev realises the reality soon and stands firm by Sonakshi.

Although the way he concluded Ayan's innocence without even investigating him, I doubt he is very smart these days.

However, the result of going against Sonakshi's suggestion is in front of him. He has found out Vicky has been swindling him. Serves him right. Next time he tried to take sides with his cunning mother's power play against his wife's smart suggestions, I hope he will remember the consequence.

Neha on the other hand is showing all signs of playing her own power play. She asks Ishwari to finalize Riya's wedding fast just to thump Sona's nose. Classic case of cutting one's nose to spite their face as Ishwari also famously does. Their priority is seriously skewed.

It's all about them and they have no qualms to use the people they claim to love for their own personal gain.

Elena is missing and Sonakshi reveals Vicky and Elena's affair. Elena, you might be a modern woman, but you are a moron. You deserve all you are going to get.

Today I can see Dev's character growth. He is starting to loose the blindfold his mother put on his eyes when he was young and see if not clearly, but at least fairly clear view of the reality. It will hurt him. It's never easy to see negative quality in someone you love. But at least, it's better than being a blind fool for the rest of your life. Good job, CVs. Der aaye, durust aaye.

Precap: Finally Vicky opened his big mouth in front of Dev and talked to Sonakshi in front of everyone the way he talks to her in private.

Dev is furious. I hope Sona doesn't stop him from teaching him a lesson or I will be seriously pissed off at Sonakshi.

Superb post as always👏
I really love ur post as they always decipher the hidden analysis of the episodes.Apt comparison of Sonakshi to Sisyphus, she is actually punching bag for the Dixit family. They have a member in their family who is only meant to be blamed whether it's their mistake or anyone else's.But girl u r an epitome of patience and that's what makes Sonakshi stand out from the typical bahus shown on television.

Really happy with today's episode.Got to see something substantial since last week's blink and miss episodes.Today the cvs did a superb job by providing a direction to the story that had gone haywire in between.Keeping the fingers crossed and hope they continue with no nonsense KRPKAB essence😆

With Neha surrounded by people like Ishu, Radharani and Dev even Maamaji and other alike who feed her cribbing and complaining justifying it time and again, saying that she's gone through a lot and it's right by her to be a whining child 😆..
And with constant support for her behavior, she has the gained the confidence that she's right by being jealous, complaining, angry, insecure and can use anyone and everyone as her punching bag to release her frustration.. 🤪

And she has her inner conscience tuned to see her wrongs as her rights.. And this applies to Ishu and Radharani too.. With them not even being questioned for their negative behaviors, no amount of understanding is gonna help someone bearing with their behaviors.. Which now started coming out as their natural habit and they see it right from their side with no lessons learnt for whatever experience they have gone through... And for them their wrongs will always be right and slowly they stop even justifying it because there will be no need for it as all the wrongs will become right by their book.. 😆

And it's not considered as their problem when they failed to take the right lesson from their life and taken the wrong lessons out of their convenience.. Only to continue playing the victims to win the sympathy game and sure it works for them.. Because the common people (read TRP aunties) relate with them and understand them as they are their reflection.. And they will continue to be the affected ones, just because they still not ready to own up to their choice of lessons... And is never ready to learn theirs... And making such mistakes doesn't impact theminstead lets them conveniently continue to make them, without affecting their inner peace... Because they have been justified all along.. And they have bought a strong valid ticket to be ruthless.. 😆

It's better for me if I choose no strong emotions for them.. Because choosing any of those negative emotions for such people sure will affect my inner peace and I can't stay in peace expressing a wrong action or emotion against them.. IGNORE or DISCONNECT from them.. Or spoof about them.. 😆

Glad that Dev is not justifying Neha anymore.. Or will he continue the moment Ishu brings in the flashbacks.. 😆

Hope Sona calls it out or ignore them royally.. 😉

While it is painful for me to watch a woman's dignity taken down constantly by her own family members, part of her insults are due to her patience.

You see, some people equate patience with weakness whereas patience is the proof of biggest strength. Ishwari, Neha and Radha think that Sona's patience is a sign of her being weak.

I am not a patient person by nature. But I can appreciate the people who shows immense patience in adversity. My mother being one of them.

The people who take patient people for granted don't realise that the strength it takes to hold onto one's patience, if let go, can hit the one standing against like a sledgehammer.

So it's better to never push patient people so hard that they let go of their patience. The consequences won't be pleasant for people who were pushing their buttons.

I personally feel that Neha is behaving like a child who throws temper tantrum because they are cranky and need their sleep. It's useless and futile to reason with a cranky child because they won't listen. The best way to deal with them is just ignore them.

They are throwing tantrum for one simple reason, to get attention. You stop giving them any attention or justification and they will take a different way.

If I were Sona, I'd ignore when Neha speaks in her rude tone. No justification, no response period.

If she asks why she is being ignored, the simple answer is, "If you want my response and want me to listen to you, you will have to talk to me with respect and in a normal tone. Otherwise, I won't respond and will just ignore you."

This is how a parent treats their cranky child who is behaving badly. I think it will work on Neha as well.

Her cry for attention was quite obvious...

Lol... No, I don't think Sisyphus has anything to do with Sissy although there is a similarity in pronunciation. 😆

Yes, Dev's awakening (I could hear the angel sing), was quite refreshing to watch. I almost felt like asking, "There you are Mr. Dixit. Glad to see you back from coma."

To the point analysis as always Tia 👍🏼
Saw today's episode after ages and realized that perhaps CVs have taken Shaheer's comment on the 'norm of husband's dumbness after marriage in the TV world' seriously 😃. Whatever the reason may be, seemed that CVs are on track for a change. I wish they continue to be. It's time RR be shown her place and Ishwari's insecurity & Neha's arrogance gets a little reality check. I hope that we get to see Vicky behind the bars and Sona get a video recording of Aayan's conversation with his GF 😎 AMEN!!

Am I hoping for too much or am I day dreaming 😕 😆
