Shivangi hurried down the path to the graveyard with a fresh bunch of flowers clutched in her hands as, like always, she wanted to start her day by visiting the person she loved in this world most. Though it has been almost 2 years since that person has left her, left this world, but for Shivangi he was still among them. At least that is what Shivangi preferred to believe, since she just couldn't accept that on one ominous day her beloved Sherlock had jumped from the top of St. Barts and fell to his death. Accepting that was too hard as accepting that will make her world come crashing down on her. It was true that for him she was just a pathologist working in a morgue where he chose to perform his experiments, but for her he meant the world. Shivangi stopped once she reached the graveyard, heaved a sigh & then entered pushing the gate open.
Sitting beside Sherlock's grave, she gently put the flowers she has brought with her on the grave and stared at the headstone for a long time. Even after all these days, her eyes filled up with fresh tears & her voice seemed to choke with them.
"It's been a long time Sherlock! How longer do you wish to make me wait? You told me once that you weren't a hero. There were times I didn't even think you were human, but let me tell you this, you were... the best man, the most human... human being that I've ever known and no one will ever convince me that you told me a lie, so... there. *patting his grave* I was so alone... and I owe you so much. But please, there's just one more thing, one more thing, one more miracle, Sherlock for me and John and Mrs Hudson and all those who love you, don't be... dead. Would you do that for me?"
Shivangi could not control the tears flowing down her cheeks; she just numbly got up & left. It was now time to start her day.
After Kaecilius mortally wounded the Ancient One and escaped to Hong Kong, he told Dr. Strange that he too will have to break the rules. He then died, despite the best efforts of Strange. Strange and Mordo arrived in Hong Kong to find that Wong is dead and Sanctum is destroyed by Kaecilius. When Strange and Kaecilius came face-to-face, Kaecilius suddenly changed the dimension and they arrived at an unknown location.
Kaecilius disappeard in a flash and Dr. Strange started checking out the surroundings. He was in his own trance, trying to figure out where they have landed when suddenly he bumped into a girl. He noticed that she had been crying, so he tried to ask her what was wrong when she looked up at him and her expression went from miserable to horrified to utterly shocked in a space of few seconds.
Shivangi could not believe her eyes! She had intended to say sorry to the well-built & muscular man she had bumped into, but she was rendered speechless after the wave of utter shock hit her. No! This can't be. How is this even possible? Where was he all this time...all these questions started swirling in her head and she felt like she was going to faint. Her knees went weak, but before she could hit the ground a pair of strong arms steadied her.
Coming back to consciousness Shivangi saw him staring at her.
"Are you alright?"
Dr. Strange asked Shivangi but she could not comprehend any words and just kept staring at him. She was so happy that her Sherlock had come back, her prayers had been answered. But... why was he dressed like that?
"Hello, I'm Strange."
He said, breaking her chain of thoughts. Shivangi chuckled.
"Yes, I know you are very strange. But I'm happy that you are back."
Strange looked confused for a moment ...What was she talking about?
"Back? Have we met before?"
He asked her.
"Stop it Sherlock. Stop acting. It's been two years since you left, where were you? How could you make us go through all that?"
Shivangi retorted back, now slightly annoyed & confused Strange more.
"Who is Sherlock? I told you I'm Strange."
He answered back. Shivangi was really annoyed by now.
"Sherlock enough! You are acting really strange, I think you need some rest. You should go home, Mrs Hudson and John will be so happy to see you."
She snapped & turned to look at him irritated. BUT! He was not there! Not anymore. He apparently vanished from there within mere seconds. Shivangi searched for him for a couple of hours...but not being able to find him wondered if she has gone totally mad now to hallucinate in broad daylight like that.
Dr. Strange observed her from far away & wondered who she was & what was she talking about. But he did not have much time to ponder upon that as he needed to find a place to hide here. Kaecilius was hiding somewhere in this locality & he was here to find him.
Shivangi was walking to her job, a frown marring her beautiful face. She had gone to 221B Baker Street this morning & Mrs. Hudson told her Sherlock has not returned. She didn't know what did she expect to hear...but knowing all that happened last day was some kind of hallucination made her worried. Was she going mad? No no...certainly...Shivangi stopped midway as she saw Dr. Strange hurrying towards her, but totally oblivious to her presence.
"Hey You!"
Shivangi stopped him in his wake. Dr. Strange turned & saw it was the same girl from yesterday.
"Why didn't you go home yesterday! You know Mrs Hudson was staring at me like...I've grown two heads! Or rather I have gone crazy! And that's all because of you!"
Shivangi accused Strange vehemently. Strange did not know what to say , so he tried to damage control by flashing a charming smile at her. He didn't know who she was or why was she so angry at him...but he felt like pacifying her, adoring her. She might be a little crazy, but she was very pretty & very charming &...
It was finally 6th December, Shivangi's birthday and she had, very bravely, asked Sherlock out on a date. He still kept behaving strangely, telling her that he was not Sherlock but she knew he was just messing with her and he'll come around soon. To Shivangi's utter disbelief, Sherlock had immediately agreed to go out with her after she asked him. So here they were in one of the fanciest restaurants in Baker Street. Shivangi was beautifully dressed up. She was so excited to be spending her birthday with Sherlock, sitting cosily in a corner booth with him & him smiling at her. Nothing could be more perfect in this world!
It seemed even the waiter, who was serving them, was too impressed by the perfect birthday girl. May be that is why he asked her what did she want in that seductive voice? Or offered to serve her their special dish with too much enthusiasm? But! Shivangi only had eyes for the charming man sitting in front of her and this mesmerised waiter's vein attempts to impress her only did the opposite. She grew extremely annoyed with him. And then in an irritating attempt to sound funny the waiter made fun of Strange's clothes.
"You look so ancient!"
He said, effectively embarrassing Strange. Shivangi could endure no more. She stood up & asked the waiter to leave them alone, firmly. The waiter didn't like it, of course, so he took off his fake moustaches and set his hair up, to show her who he really was.
It was none other than Sherlock Holmes, theREAL Sherlock Holmes! Shivangi was stunned to see two Sherlocks standing in front of her. Now everything started to become clear, the man she had been following for days was not Sherlock but actually Dr Strange, as he had mentioned. She was in her own thoughts when the two of them started fighting;
"You are a psychopath!"
Strange accused Sherlock furiously. Sherlock laughed.
"No. I'm a high functioning sociopath. Do your research!"
"I don't need to research. I have got the powers to protect her from any harm."
"Who wants powers when I have got the genius mind."
Seeing they were about to pull each other's heads off, Shivangi calmed them down but she herself was in a big dilemma as now she must choose one of them. If she chooses one, she loses the other which she couldn't handle. She wanted to have them both. In her mind she decided to date both of them simultaneously. Seeing Shivangi struggling to make a choice, Sherlock stormed off from there. Shivangi followed him outside.
"Sherlock! Please wait!"
Shivangi called out to him.
"Shivangi I have always considered that love is boring and a dangerous disadvantage. I don't deserve a sweet girl like you because I can only break your heart. You go back to Dr Strange, he will love you and keep you happy. Goodbye Shivangi!"
Saying this he left from there. So now Shivangi rushed inside to Dr Strange. He had a serious look on his face.
"Strange in these past few days I fell for you and so I am choosing you."
Shivangi voiced shyly.
"No. Sherlock is your first love and you fell for me because you thought I was Sherlock. Now that he has come back alive, I have no place in your life. Go back to your Sherlock, he'll keep you happy. I wish you all the best for your future. Goodbye Shivangi."
Strange walked out; not only from the restaurant, but from Shivangi's life as well.
NOOO!!!

"SURPRISEEE!!"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHIVU!!!"
Hearing the loud noise, Shivangi fell from her bed and landed on her butt.
Sayu (chuckling): "Well, Ms Sleepyhead! That was quite a swift landing."
*Shivangi looks on confused*
Sid: "Why are you looking at us like that?"
Shivangi (still confused): "What are you guys doing at Baker Street?"
Nidu: "Baker Street? Have you gone mad? This is Pataka Queen's House."
Sanna: "Maybe when she fell, she has hit her head hard that's why she is talking like some psycho."
Shivangi (now observing the surroundings): "So that was a dream?"
Eku: "Abey tu pagal hogayi hai kya? Kya bol rahi hai?"
Shivangi (with a dazed expression): "I was dreaming about Sherlock. And Dr. Strange was also there and both of them were madly in love with me. Both of them were trying to woo me and...
All (exasperated): "PLEASE!!! NOT AGAIN!!!
Sid: "It's your birthday so please spare us at least today!"
Shivangi: "Whatever..."
Before Shivangi could throw any more tantrums, Nidu and Sanna dragged her to the living room where Sid, Sayu and Eku were already waiting with the cake and they all started singing the Happy Birthday song for Shivangi.
But for Shivangi she was still in her dreamland. That was a dream she never wanted to be woken up from. What a lovely dream it was!
We wish you a very happy birthday Shivu.. God bless you! 🤗
