He remained feeling sad, the emptiness made him realise that he is hungry. Along with his little heart his stomach was upset too. He decided to go to the loo first. After finishing with his business he took the stairs to the hall.
"Why is it so dark". He slowly and carefully took little steps down.
"Surprise!" He stopped on the third last stair as he was taken aback by the sudden appearance of all. Taking a moment to digest he smiled so wide showing the missing space of his front teeth.
"Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Sahil" everybody except The elders wer at the party for Sahil.
He got kissed on the cheeks by his sisters Anika & Ishana respectively. He was impatiently waiting for that special person to wish him. She bends down and kisses him making him blush more.
"You always kiss him why not me" Rudra holds and turns Soumya around
"Are you a kid Rudra?"
"Bacha kis ko bola" hearing this from Rudra was nothing new but Sahil who was holding her hand also said it along Rudra
"Okay enough of your non sense again" Om takes Rudra away from Soumya who was still staring at Sahil
"My family is the best" Sahil says on the highest note of his voice
Sahil got ecstatic in the anticipation of his cake. Unknowingly the boys were on one side as they didn't dare to ho near the girls for what they did in the morning.
"I arranged this special party for you". Shivaay says in Sahil's ears.
"What?" The words came out of Ishana's mouth in shock
Seeing Ishana Om says "We did the decorations according to your likes". He shows him the mickeymouse balloon. Before Sahil could hold it Ishana snatches it from Om
"Sahil tujhe patta tha na k Kanoon k hath lambay hotay hain. Aaj se samajh Tere jeju k bhi lambay ho gaye jo office mein baithay gher ki decorations kerte rahe" Anika glaring at Shivaay tells Sahil
"Sahil idher aa zara" Rudra calls him and his brothers too. The three make a huddle around him confusing him and others too. The girls tried their best to listen
"Ye larkiyan poora din shopping kerti rahin aur ab sharminda hain." Rudra wanted to get Sahil on their side
"Acha sun na Sahil, hum ne itni achi party arrange ki ab kya tu apni behno ko pattanay mein hamari help karey ga?" Listening this from Shivaay's mouth OmRu look at him amusingly
"Haan haan kiyun nahin, wo sab mujhe per chor do aap." Sahil winks at Shivaay making him smile
"What exactly are you doing here boys". Anika asks the brothers
They all get back to their place.
"Sahil inhon ne jo bhi kaha us per dehaan na deina, ye sab hum ne especially tumharey liey kiya". Anika tells Sahil
"Aur ab ye jhooti tareefain kha rahe hain. Hum larkiyon ne kiya hai ye sab", Soumya too joins Anika
"Tum girl kab se ho gayi Sumo?" Rudra mocks her laughingly
"Aey! Soumya ko Sumo bola tou" Sahil points the knife towards Rudra.
"Haan tou kya ker layga chirkutt?" Rudra folds his sleeves up
"You too are at it again. Come on now" Shivaay comes in between them
"Ye tou meine isko pakra hua tha verna ye terey cake aur sandwiches kha jati" Rudra poles fun at Soumya again
"Kyun O?" Rudra wants O to support him
"Haan haan, aur pakerney k liey tou 2 bunday chaiey thay..."
"Om!!!" ( Anika, Ishana cut him haf-speech)
"Bhaiya Aap bhi". Soumya becomes sad
"No! Soumya I'm sorry" As Om tries to go near her Rudra hold his hand.
"Okay ab tou tm saath raho gi na Anika?" Shivaay asks so innocently leaning towards her
"Kyun aaj aapka happy birthday hai?" Anika was in no mood to forgive him and Shivaay was embarrased by the answer
"Okay enough now I am hungry. Cake kab kaatein gay". Sahil was irritated by their fight on his birthday
"Sahil ruk, ye sandwich thanda ho gaya hoga. Mein garam ker k lai." Ishana takes the plate and goes inside the kitchen
"Sahil, dadi aur baki atey he honagy. Phir cake kateingay , ok?" Anika pacifies Sahil
Ishana gives one sandwich to Sahil and puts the plate on the table. Shivaay took one of the sandwiches.
"Anika tm sara din kaam kerti rahi, ye lou tum khao" Shivaay offers Anika
Ishana felt uneasy as before she had a smirk on her face when Shivaay lifted the plate.
"Nahin nahin billu jee, kaam tou aap kerte rahe meine tou sirf shopping ki. Pehlay aap" Anika who was Ishana's elder sister knew what she was upto
"No, you first" Shivaay
"Please Billu jee, aap"
"Anika, y...,"
(Rudra cuts in) "Arey kya pehlay aap pehlay aap. Itne sarey hain dono aik aik kha lou. Aese". Rudra takes one and puts it in his mouth in one go. It was half chewed but he swallowed. His mouth was burning. He could feel fire coming out of his ears. He looked at Sahil who was enjoying the same sandwich to the fullest. Om had no doubt that Ishana did something fishy, he was staring at her as she sticked her tongue out.
"Paani... Kuch m---meetha dou" Rudra was jumping up and down
"Meeta chaiey tumhain?" Soumya took a hand full of cake and threw towards Rudra that got stuck in his opened mouth. Rudra felt some ease till he understood what exactly Soumya did.
"Did you just throw cake at me? Tum tou gayi Sumo" he takes a piece out roughly and throws in Soumya's direction who avoided it by sitting and it landed on Ishana face who was laughing at Rudra. Seeing Ishana smacked with the cake Om cracks up real bad that irks Ishana. She grabs some cake and aims at him. He jumped out of the frame resulting the cake on Shivaay.
"J-j-eeju! Aap nahin. Wo!" Ishana didn't know what to say.
"No problem Ishana we'll make it even." Shivaay picks up a little bit of as Ishana closes her eyes ready to be hit. He throws the cake and Soumya pulls Ishana that made Anika exposed to the cake.
"Fhat the Whuck!" The bothers knew once you tease Anika she just doesn't stop .
She comes forward. Moves Sahil aside.
"Ye cake meine khaney k liey banaya tha, match khelnay k liey nahin. Aap ne mujhe per cake phenka?" Anika folds her arms while others watch closely
"W-woh Anika, I can explain" Shivaay mumbles unable to meet her eyes. When he felt something cold stuck on his face. His eyes were unable to open. Anika had banged the whole cake on his face. The cherry was stuck on his nose. Sahil takes it off and eats it saying "happy birthday Oberois"
"It's all because of you?" Om takes the cake from Shivaay's face. Makes a big ball and throws at Ishana who dodges and it lans on Tej who just came back from the meeting.
"What the hell is going on here" Tej wipes off the cake from his face. Some cake was still left on his eyebrows that makes Rudra laugh.
"Is it funny to you"? Tej comes forward and Rudra stands behind Om.
Anika wanted to save others being an elder from Tej's wrath as she took a step forward She steps on a piece of cake and slips. Shivaay holds her but because of the slippery floor he falls on her.
"Papa is ne start kiya tha." Rudra points towards Soumya and goes near her to avoid Tej. He holds Soumya by her neck and smacks her face on the other cake placed on the table.
"Hisaab baraber".
"Aaahhh!" Sahil screams to make everyone stop
