also, the other show kumkum bhagya - i have no clue what it is, just watched a clip on you tube after this discussion here but to think of it, they stuck to the premise of the show and what they said they will deliver - no matter how nonsensical it sounds but the plot just from the name and that clip i watched- some bhagya association of the heroine with her kumkum or suhaag ki nishaani or wtv. so however, mundane the track was, they showed what they sold - so no one can complain as ekta didnt cheat her fans
whereas gul promised ishqbaazi of 3 bros and delivered a useless bitchy vamp and a stalker track instead of a sensible jealousy track. also, she has ignored fans of OMRU like anything and yes, we have loved the focus on shivika but too much of anything is bad as we are learning now 😆!
i feel if they stuck to the original story line, they would still have had the original trps of 1.8-1.9 which was not all that bad and show would have run for a year - which is honestly a long enough run for a daily soap. now, i dont think it will go beyond march! gul deceived the fans and not just shivika but omru fans too! and its downright disgusting, she needs to be humble which i dont think she is at all
