  • U- unrestricted public exhibition;
  • PG or U/A- unrestricted public exhibition, but with a caution regarding parental guidance to those under 12 years of age;
  • A- public exhibition restricted to adults 18 years of age and older only (not allowed in free-to-air television in India);
  • S- public exhibition restricted to members of a profession or a class of persons (e.g. doctors etc.)"very rare.

Above is the Indian television content rating system. I am aware that people outside India watch the show too but then the majority of audience is from India. So I have just provided the rating for Indian channels here.

So the question is how do you rate KB in terms of it's content? I believe it's rated U.. I have not seen any note on it.. please let me know if you have observed.

The other question is- would you let the children in your family watch KB?

Voted A. No, I wouldn't let kids watch the show with me.

It's not that there's sexual content, indecent dressing, etc, but story and dialogs are pretty crude and vulgar. Insulting to women and men, lot of violence, crimes not punished. Not appropriate for kids.

I'll go with the second option. And I agree with Prani, Recently Alia said some dialogues to Nikhil. You would not want to explain a kid what's a compromising situation!!

lol I don't know but than like Prani said I don't want my kids to watch this nonsense.
Not only this most of the shows in telivisoon 😆

I don't want my son to be inspired by revenge / hate marriages.
I don't want my daughter to be inspired by kumkum / mangalsutra.

I would rate it as A too.. and would like parents not to let kids watch this show. It's not skin show or the sexual content but the mere stuff like how villains always keep winning, how kidnaps, murders, blames, attacks are a norm.. how dysfunctional families are.. how ridiculously relationships and marriages are portrayed..

Not something kids should watching while growing up.. that too when every episode is like that.

I'd say PG. And I wouldn't encourage children to watch it but I probably wouldn't forbid it either. Children always take things differently than adults think they will. I would be concerned about how to explain adult-tinged concepts like the cyclical characterlessness blames, definitely inappropriate for children but not to the extent that it would be worth making them curious about it by overtly banning them from watching.

Haha so true Rishu.. I just hope adults don't get inspired by such themes too.. The ones who avidly watch the show.
