... by getting Dev to sign the pre-nup. Darn his legal team only did half a job. It needs Sona's signatures too...
So what if Dev chose this girl. So what if this girl is as qualified and hard working as Dev. So what if she hails from a simple middle class family. So what if this girl walked out of her engagement at the drop of a hat when she saw her lover, your son in pieces. So what if this girl is ready to take any amount of crap to try and integrate in your family. It doesn't matter. When a company is all you, your 3 daughters and your son have, it makes absolute sense to do whatever it takes to protect your fortune by getting the right legal counsel. Your methods were wrong but you had no other choice left and I wont comment on what you could have since done. If Mr Gujral was to be your samdhee, he would have done exactly that with Dev & natasha.
Now, Ishwari,go do the same with Aayan. You got lucky with Ranveer... just like Sona and her family can screw you up, so can aayan and his family. It doesnt matter how well established or not someone is. Where matters of money are concerned someone needs to scaffold the only fortune you guys have. Because Ishwari, your son is very capable of giving away 30% of his company to his sisters each, leaving 10% for you and him and still re-build the empire. But what no can protect you guys from is, claiming 50% shares in this company as divorce and thus you guys being overall 50% poorer while an ex-spouse of one of your kids gets that 50%.
You did the absolute right thing by getting that prenup signed. Now do 2 things:
1. Call the legal team in and get that drawn up for aayan and Riya. Make sure Riya and your son's wealth is protected
2. Speak to Dev & Sona about their pre-nup and come clean
Dev - kya baat hai... jaise hee Sona ko khone ka kahayal aata hai aap suddenly patar patar bolne lagte hain? ek baat bolun - Today you defended your wife in the right manner but actually for the wrong reasons...
1. Sonakshi's demeanour at the dining table wasn't appropriate (why were sona and Riya not sat with you guys.. How old fashioned! :P ) You did the right thing by snapping her out of her thoughts by asking her to pass the salt.
2. Neha - thanks dear for going and speaking to bhabhi - you do have a soft corner for your foster daughter afterall. But you really should have nipped the matter in the bud there. Baat aage nahi badhanee thee wahan
I will explain why. Aayan and his family seem fishy. But there was no need for Sonakshi to play Byomkesh Bakshi right that moment. She should have just let go by saying she is tired. Dixits should have spoken about this after Aayan and his family had left
Dev, what you said is right. Sonakshi is raising some valid points. and I am glad #devakshi are acting as a team. I am glad they are understanding each other's body language even. Just that this time Sonakshi needed to hold her horses.
Anyways, this is fiction. We dont know if aayan is a nice guy or not. But these days its all about Sonakshi so, we know she will be right this time.
Now, my thoughts on why Dev hasnt done a background check on Aayan
he only does this when he pushed in a corner. he did it with Kushal Roy because he had no other option left. Its his personality. I saw the old Dev Dixit today - he was a man of few words and very quiet and had that intense look. Because now he again feels like he is being pushed in the corner and his defence mechanism is up. He hasnt bothered getting a second opinion on Sonakshi's reports - why - because he thinks he can handle it 'for now'.
That is the issue. Dev only does something dhamakedar when he is pushed in a corner. I wont comment on the pre-cap. Lets see what made him relax about Aayan
PS: Before they forget has anyone spoken to Riya by the way?
PPS: Was it the same bracelet that Dev had in his pen stand for Sonakshi during breakup?
*******EDIT******Pasting from the internet:
What is a pre-nup and who needs it?
A prenuptial agreement ("prenup" for short) is a written contract created by two people before they are married. A prenup typically lists all of the property each person owns (as well as any debts) and specifies what each person's property rights will be after the marriage.
Who Needs a Prenup?
Contrary to popular opinion, prenups are not just for the rich. While prenups are often used to protect the assets of a wealthy fianc, couples of more modest means are increasingly turning to them for their own purposes.
Now, in light of above and assuming that the wealth belongs to Ishwari and her children equally, they should all have a pre-nup
