Shivaay-Anika hug/holding each other...

So I'm just left wondering...

What did the last hug mean to you?

She was super angry with him and shocked at his behaviour, but ends up breaking down in his arms only and finally leans her head on his chest. He also holds her.

When that whole scene started after he blew up the car and Anika ran. I kept thinking will they end with them hugging or him holding her but then I thought no way, she's way to angry to do that. But eventually it did happen!

So what do you think that hug symbolised...?

For me it was both of them coming to an understanding that Shivaay's actions has lead to them both being stuck in this situation and finally accepting it plus realising that there is no other choice but to get married. She understood his reasons because of his family's izzat and he understood that he forced her into it but he had no other choice. And they are both stuck. They have both accepted defeat.

Please tell me your interpretation or symbolism of that hold/hug at the end...?

On the other side, got a glimpse of Shivay who feels strongly for Anika, however we see him tamping that aspect of his personality to fully pave the way for sso to get the job done, ie is to fill up the empty bridal seat. And finally last but not least - the deal was easy no investment of oberoi captial in cash or kind.

Yes I wasn't sure if it was a hug either but near the end when she leaned on him it looked like he wasn't holding her hands back. I'll have to watch the scene again.

I also thought that because in the coming episodes when Shivaay and Dadi go to Anika's house, Anika was not as furious as I thought she would be. Considering how badly he treated her, I expected her to stay super angry for a few days but they both seemed calm and composed. That's why part of me felt that she accepted her fate in marrying Shivaay. Then again they have always remained composed around Dadi. Hmmm...now I'm not sure why they had Anika lean on Shivaay in the last shot of today's episode...
