In the Hall
Bharmal n Varinder see Jodha n Surya coming. Jodha seemed happy n Bharmal was happy after seeing that. But Moti only could sense that the happiness of Jodha was for some other reason n not for this marriage.
After some time Varinder n Surya went from there n Bharmal congratulated Jodha n in return, she too congratulated him. Jodha n Moti went to her room n Moti asked so many questions in 1 go.
Jodha: don't ask so many questions all together. Ask one by one.
Moti (excitedly): ok! So how was the meeting with Surya? Sorry, I mean Surya Jiju?
Jodha : it was normal like always.
Moti: normal like always??
Jodha: ya besides he agreed that I can work n that too even after marriage n can take time as much as I want. But he said that we should do the engagement as soon as possible as in between 2-3 months.
Now, Moti knew that what was the real reason for Jodha's happiness.
Like this only few days passed. Surya used to call Jodha everyday that made Jodha nervous, that is y she cud not talk to him freely as when used to do when they were good friends. Surya was a bit of disappointed with this behavior of Jodha. But then he thought that Jodha will eventually open to him. But he never knew that where was his n Jodha's destiny going to go.
1 day before joining
Jodha was hell nervous. The whole day for Jodha went in nervousness n tension. At the dinner time when she was having her dinner her dad saw a bit of tensed n did not speak much, which was very unsual.
Bharmal: What happened Jodha beta? U look tensed?
Jodha: yes papa. Tomorrow is the first day at the office n I have got a big responsibility on my shoulders.
Bharmal: don't take tension beta. I know u will do ur best. And on top of it Mr. Khan had himself chosen u for such a big post.
Jodha (smilingly): yes papa.
Talking to her dad had boosted her confidence n now she was not feeling nervous like before.
After having dinner she went to her room to sleep as she had a long day ahead.
At Khan mansion
Jalal was having dinner with his ammi n was a bit of excited as from now he would now be able to see Jodha every day.
Hamida: beta what happened? U look excited?
Jalal was bit shocked that his mom had guessed that he was extremely happy.
Jalal(hesitantly): Nothing ammijaan. I have just signed a deal.
Hamida: okkk!
But Hamida knew that Jalal was happy for some other reason not for the signing of the deal as he had signed so many deals and had never been this happier ever before.
At night while Jalal was sitting in his bedroom. He was thinking about Jodha. He was really excited that tomorrow he n Jodha had their first day together. Since the day he met her in the party he can't get her out of his mind.
Meanwhile Jodha could not sleep due to her nervousness because firstly she had such a big responsibility on her shoulders n secondly she had to work with Jalal. She was directly appointed to Jalal n that had scared the hell out of her. He had affected her to the core with his charming n dashing personality. The thought of meeting Jalal n working with him was driving her crazy. She was herself confused that she had never met a man who had left such a great impact on her mind, she had never thought for Surya like this.
The next day
Khan Mansion
Jalal was not able to sleep the whole night due to the excitement to meet Jodha. Jalal got up earlier than his usual time. Then he went to his gym n came after nearly about 2 hours. He got ready as fast as he could. He was very much impatient to meet her. The main reason for his excitement was not only meeting Jodha but working with her n get to know more about her n most importantly to see her every day. Jalal had never experienced this feeling for any other girl n this was kind a strange for him. His mom was also surprised to see him to ready for the office before his usual time.
Hamida: Good Morning beta.
Jalal: good morning ammijaan. How have you been doing?
Hamida: good beta as always. So y did u get ready earlier than your usual time?
Jalal: yes ammijaan, I told u yesterday that I had to sign a very important deal today.
Hamida: ok gud. But beta u don't give this time for any of ur meetings. It's quite early.
Jalal: yes ammijaan. The clients were in a bit of hurry so that's y.
Jalal was feeling guilty for telling a lie to Hamida.
Jalal n hamida had breakfast together n then Jalal left the mansion in little bit of hurry.
Hamida(to herself): it's not about any meeting or any office work. I have never seen Jalal this excited to go to office. Beta u can hide as much as u want but I am ur ammijaan. Sooner or later I'll know about it. I'll just pray for ur happiness beta.
At Singh Mansion
Jodha got up when her alarm started ringing. Her sleep had not been completed because she had slept very late at night. She quickly stood up n then went in the washroom to get fresh n have bath. When she came out she had worn a bathrobe n her hair was wet. She opened her wardrobe n quickly chose what she wanted to wear. She chose for herself a black trouser n a white shirt with black stiletto. After wearing then she dried her hair n left them loose.
She quickly went down to have breakfast with everything that she wanted today for her work. She greeted her dad with her evergreen smile.
Bharmal: good morning beta.
Jodha: good morning dad.
Bharmal was smiling n felt contended that now Jodha would be working. He thought that how time passed so quickly. It seemed to him that it was yesterday only that Jodha was cute, little n chubby kid walking here n there in the house. N now she has grown that she is going to stand on her own feet n will soon leave him n get married to Surya.
Jodha ate her breakfast as she could n then picking everything she took blessings from her father. While she was picking the car keys of her all time favorite polo, her dad told her that the driver could drop her to the office.
Jodha: no need dad. I will drive myself.
Bharmal: ok beta. As u wish.
Jodha had messaged Moti that she would come to her house to pick her up. She reached quite early, blew the horn at the gate of Moti's house. Moti was surprised to hear of the horn of Jodha's car. She saw the time to check whether she was late but no Jodha had reached quite early. Then Moti's phone started ringing. She knew that it was Jodha, answered it n told her to wait for 5 minutes as she was still finishing her breakfast.
Moti hurriedly came out of the house n sat in the car.
In the car
Moti: hey Jo! How r u? How is it possible that u reached in time?
Jodha( chuckled): it's not always that I am late Moti.
Moti: u r always Jo.
Jodha: ok. Actually yesterday I could not sleep so thought of getting ready early today.
Moti: oh really were u thinking about my jiju.
Jodha gave her a killing stare but Moti didn't pay heed to it. She said: haha I have many other works to do other than thinking about him. Actually I am hell nervous.
Moti: nervous n u?
Jodha: actually this is our first job n on top of it we have been given the highest posts which brings in a lot of responsibility on our shoulders.
Moti: don't worry Jo. Jalal sir has given us this responsibility because he thinks that we r capable for it. Be calm n cool. I think we both can handle big responsibilities very well.
Jodha (laughing): ya u r right.
Moti: that's my good girl. So u didn't tell me how's Surya jiju? (said while winking towards her).
Jodha: he is fine. I have not talked to him from past 2 days. Neither he called nor me.
Moti (surprised): he didn't talk to u. He was the most excited when u said for the marriage. Did he even wish u all the best for the 1st day at office?
Jodha: no. How do u know that he was the most excited one for this marriage?
Moti: Jo, it was clearly visible from his face. I think that he had feelings for u, from a long time.
Jodha: I don't know about that.
Then they did chit-chat till when they realized that they had reached the office. She was happy that nobody in this world had a talent to make her feel good other than her best friend Moti.
Jodha parked the car in the parking area n with Moti she entered the office building. They were greeted by the receptionist. They handed their appointment letter n she directed the way to top floor where they had their respective cabins.
Jalal had already reached the office quite early due to his excitement to meet Jodha. When Jodha reached the top most floor, she was spellbound to see the dcor of the place. Other floors were quite different from this one. The 1st word that came from her mouth was Wow!
Then the receptionist directed her way to Jalal's cabin. At the door of the cabin she left Jodha n Moti.
They both knocked the cabin. After seeing the cabin they both were awestruck. They had never seen something like that before.
He told them to come in.
Jalal was mesmerized to see Jodha in pants n a shirt. He thought that every dress suited her to the core. He got back from his stance after he heard both of them wishing him.
Jodha n Moti: Good Morning sir.
Jalal: good morning. Welcome to the Khan Industries.
Jodha n Moti: thanks a lot sir.
Jalal: Moti, everyday, first u have to address to Abdul n then to Jodha.
Moti: ok sir! May I leave u?
Jalal: yes.
Then Moti leaves the cabin. Jodha got more nervous seeing Moti leaving the cabin. The person who had captured her mind was sitting in front of her.
Jalal: Jodha, come n sit here!
His voice bought Jodha out of her stance.
Jodha(stumbling): yes sir.
She tried to maintain her confidence in front of him as she didn't want him to know that she was nervous.
Jalal handed Jodha some files of the marketing department. When he was telling her what she had to do, they heard another knock at the door.
Ruquaiya: Good Morning sir.
Jalal: Good Morning Ruquaiya. Meet the new HD of the Marketing Department, Jodha.
Ruquaiya (making not so good face): Good Morning Jodha.
Jalal (angrily): Ruquaiya have u forgot ur manners. Don't u know that she is a senior to u. Call her Ma'am when u meet her for the next time n now say her sorry.
Ruquaiya (behaving that she is guilty): Sorry sir. Sorry Ma'am.
Jodha: it's ok Ruquqiya. Sir, there is no need of her to call me Ma'am.
Jalal: there is Jodha. (to Ruquaiya with anger): What's my schedule for today?
Ruquaiya: Sir u have meetings for today between the 1-3 with Varinder Kumar, owner of the Kumar Group of Industries.
Jalal: anything else?
Ruquaiya: no, sir.
Then Jalal n Jodha continued with their discussion.
Ruquaiya left the cabin with anger. From day 1 when she met Jo at the interview, she was highly jealous of her beauty n now when Jalal took her side, her anger had no limits. She had made perspective of Jodha without even knowing her properly.
Then finally the discussion between Jalal n Jodha got over. Jodha was picking her things when Abdul came to the cabin of Jalal.
Jalal: hey!
Abdul: hey Jalal. How have u been doing?
Jalal: Good man. Meet Jodha.
Jodha: Good Morning Sir.
Abdul: Good Morning Jodha. Welcome to Khan Industries.
Jodha: thank u sir.
She started picking all her stuff n was about to leave.
Jalal: Jodha?
Jodha: yes sir.
Jalal: From now onwards don't call me sir, call me Jalal.
Jodha(shocked): what?
Jalal: call me Jalal.
Jodha could not speak further. The only thing that she could utter was ok! She came out of the cabin as quickly as she could.
Abdul too was shocked to see the behavior of Jalal. He had not allowed anyone except him to call him Jalal.
