I also wrote IPKKND fanfics and TEI fanfics.

-I hate this. I hate that I am doing this and I am circling around a show I don't even watch. Regardless, here is a stupid piece of trashy fan-fiction with okay-ish grammar and readable font. This SS basically focus on Shivaay-Anika although my favs are Ishana-Om, because Shivaay & Anika's dynamics are more explored in the show. Enjoy;

SS | The Judas Kiss

One

Six months. Thats how much time Anika had given Shivaay to prove himself as someone human. As someone born with compassion and ability to love. Six Months.

And just like she gave those six months to him, in mere seconds without realizing that this was a second chance she was handing out, the six months were going to be over soon, with nothing sorted out and things appearing more tangled then before.

Shivaay stared at his reflection in the mirror. His face appeared weary and tired. His eyes had large grey circles underneath them, and his pale skin did little to hide the wreck churning inside his body. He heaved a sigh, that tightened up his muscles more then allowing them to relax; and picked up the bottle of gel to smother his hair with. In few seconds, his appearance of appearing as the 'Great Wall of Shivaay' was complete. Not a hair out of place.

There was an obvious torment of emotions swirling inside him as he left his room and made his way from the halls towards the family-breakfast area. Sometimes he thoughts, the mansion was too big for the family's own good. He felt her presence halfway through the stairway. His steps toppled but regaining his composure, he made his way downstairs.

The only part of her that was visible was the edge of her dupatta trailing behind her while she stood silently in the corner of the kitchen, listening to Rudra and Someya fight unnecessarily over how gujrati-desi ghee differed from the one in the house. His presence into her near surroundings was usually received coldly so her obliviousness to him today appeared as a symbol of hope.

"Anika." he broke into her thoughts, handing the trailing dupatta behind her.

She took the piece of cloth and gathered the flowing piece of cloth to throw around her neck instead of on her shoulder.

"Anika, tum theek ho?" he questioned seeing her refrain from being a chatter box that she usually was. His words were loud and clear, perhaps that is why Rudra and Someya quietened down abruptly, only to rudely stare at the two.

Shivaay turned around to give them an ogling stare that pushed Someya into pulling Rudra out of the kitchen.

"Anika?" he asked again, seeing her walk past him and pour an egg into the pan for breakfast.

"kya?" she replied, with exaggerated agitation on her face visible.

"tum bhoat khamosh ho?" he questioned, trying to smoothen out the tension.

"Kyun? Khomashi pe tax hai? Mera mun hai. Meri marzi, jab istemal karoon aur jab dil chae nahi istemaal karo." her tone was icy.

Shivaay nodded with approval at her statement and moved away to toast the bread. His hands were getting clammy and he could feel the tension rise in his neck again. The disguised act of civility from her had lasted through six months despite the crossroads' moments between them in past months. He wanted to know her decision. Tomorrow would only mark the anniversary of the day he had committed one of the most heinous acts of his lifetime.

He turned around to open his mouth, to let her know that he had proved himself to be a human being enough to know her decision except maybe he was too late because she left the space that allowed her to be with him, with the silence that countered how much she had caused a ruckus when she entered his life.

He put the dry toast on his plate as they popped out of the toaster and seated himself next to Rudra and Someya. His life was suppose to be colorful and happy. His life was suppose to be perfect. Not this.

Two

Six months were almost over. She stared at the calendar in Priyanka's room and mentally checked off one more day.

'One more day. Only One more day.'

She turned around and picked up her bag, full of all kinds of essentials and non essentials to exit the room. Her duffle-bag was already packed with her clothes and placed by the edge of the door for easy runaway. Her slippers made a clacking sound as she stepped down the stairs and walked out of the doors of the Oberoi mansion.

She started her scooty, flinging her bag behind her. It took three tries altogether for it to lve up to its talked-about glory by Anika when Shivaay Singh Oberoi's car exited the doors of Oberoi Mansion. He stopped seeing her and may have once agin gotten out to offer her a ride to her work but dear old chameli was getting quicker in her own instincts as well, starting itself up just as he had shown up.

Anika looked at him with a peculiar sadness tinged in her eyes. She didn't waste anymore time and drove off, seeing him reaching to a conclusion of her unspoken words.

Bombay air with it's noise and air pollution coupled with clear skies presented itself bringing an ideal day of new beginnings. Anika smiled as she drove on the busy roads and made her way from in between the hectic traffic towards her office. The small office space she had rented successfully without any external loans was her own. Her very own event-management company stood out and today it was going to open it's doors to everyone.

Anika entered smiling with satisfaction. Her face had some how managed to retain the youthful energy and innocence she had about a year ago before meeting the man who had thrown money in her face yet her eyes told another story. The void of loneliness that had surfaced inside her after meeting Shivaay and his family has been crushed with bitter truth about reality that she had grown up with. With twinkling pleasure dancing in her eyes, she placed her bag onto the table and marveled at the shelves places with the new books she had bought with tips on business expansion and management.

The plain walls looked more beautiful to her with it's fresh coat. The shelves lined behind her desk and her desk, oh it was beautiful with a space for organizers and planner sheets. The local carpenter from Sahil's neighborhood had volunteered to craft the furniture for her and only accepted 20% of the payment. Apparently she had once offered him and his family food that she had brought back from the canteen and the man hadn't earned a nickel in three weeks which had put him in a compromising situation. Good deeds paid off, and remembering the unknown incident, Anika smiled to herself for not allowing herself to lose her touch.

The chairs lined up before her desk and few, by the wall added an unknown hint of beauty that was beyond Anika's own understanding. She took up her bag from the chair and placed it behind the desk, taking out the old diaries and journals with her scheduling from Tia and Shivaay's wedding to Malika's birthday bashes, on the one of the shelves behind her desk. The took out the list of vendors she knew, and stuck it inside the planner.

She looked around and decided on only adding a phone line into the office. She can have Sahil working the line for the weekends and maybe she'll have to decide on hiring someone to represent once two of her current clients would have given in there payments.

"Dekha Anika. Apni kabiliyat ki wajah se tu kahan se kahan pohanch gai hai!" she praised herself, chuckling internally. "bas aab aik aur din rehta hai aur phir, AAZZAADIII!!!" she jolted uprighted and started dancing on her own abrupt rhythms.

Six months. It only seemed like yesterday when she had challenged the Oberois to the worst possible that she could bring when she was humiliated and it had worked. They all knew better then to underestimate her. After all, a person who has nothing to lose loses nothing in any battle life wages.

She twirled in the empty room, surrounding by the trophies of her own achievements and illuminating sun rays bringing the warmth of new beginnings that awaited her.

Three

The Kapoors stared at Anika's face, there own expressions vacant and blank, when the ghoonghat of the bride was taken off off her face. There was only one thing that had led to Tia not being the bride on the day of the weddings.

Of course not, that would be rubbish. The jumbled thoughts of Mrs. Kapoor were audible enough through her mumbling to catch the attention of Pinky who had made sure her husband had pushed the servants and press out of the room.

"Whats are you saying Mrs. Kapoor?" she looked at her, her face puffy from anger and surprise she had just received.

"Tia bhaag gai. Bagair kisi explanations ke. Bagair kisi reason ke. Sirf aik note choor ke" Shivaay's voice boomed through the anomisty that had filled up insode the room. "Yahi batana chaa rahi hoon gi?!" he mocked Mrs. Kapoor's blank expression.

Pinky's attention shifted from Anika's face towards Shivaay. It appeared as if the dynamics had changed drastically with the words that echoed in the empty room. Tej appeared as if he would burst out laughing while Jhanvi's expression of somberness stuck. Rudra wanted to say something out loud in regards to the universe working against 'SHITIA' but Om's heavy hand on his arm was enough to stop him off from uttering anything.

Shakti looked genuinely troubled to see the hesitancy of embracing a decision as such on his son's face while Pinky couldn't believe that in a moment of humiliation, her son chose to buy the girl who had unintentionally helped the family through the worst obstacles in recent days instead of telling any member of the family about the debacle.

She refused to accept that her son would stoop so low. He was her son. He prided himself with the lineage his father provided and the wealth brought in through days of hard work but her son, the proof of her upbringing in contrast to Jethani ji's neglectful upbringing couldn't result in something so disastrous.

"Mein Anika ko kal hi divorce de dunga. Lawyers se baat already ho chuki hai." he added seeing the contrasting flaming faces in front of him.

"Tia?" Mrs. Kapoor mumbled a bit louder then before catching Dadi's attention while Om continued ramparting Shivaay with the worst decision he has taken of his life. Dadi looked at Anika's face, her eyes lit with fury and her jaw trembling with restraint of lashing out while looking at Mrs. Kapoor.

"Kahan gai Tia, Mrs. Kapoor? Aisa mujhe laag raha hai ke aap ko pata hai!"

"Tia, woh.. Tia." she mumbled until she found herself scanning the furious faces of half of the room's occupants. There didn't seem any more reason to lie. Perhaps omitting few truths could be a better option but other then that, nothing seemed reasonable in her mind as something she can use to delay the prospect of Shivaay looking into there past history.

"Tia, kisi aur ko pasand karti thi par mein ne usse force kya tha ke woh Shivaay ke saath apna relationship aage barhai. Mein ne usse practical decision lene ke leye force kiya par uss ne akhir mein apne dil ki sun le." she uttered hesitantly, almost pleadingly.

"AUR YEH Usse pehle batana sahi nahi laga?" Shivaay's mocking tone reemerged from the chaos ensuing.

"Billu, tu Anika ko divorce nahi de raha hai. Media ko bula aur Anika ko apni biwi ke naam se introduce kar wa do." Dadi cut in, in between with her hands going up at Om's and Shivaay's face. It was taking mere seconds for words to unravel out of everyone's mouth besides her own two sons.

She looked at Tej's amused expression and Shakti's guilt of perhaps never trying to be a proper father for his son.

In between it all, what struck her was the behavior of Someya who stood behind Priyanka with an expression of guilt but brushing aside the changing colors of Someya's face, Dadi circled her arms around Anika from the side and pulled her attention towards Shivaay.

"Daadi, jab tak Tia mere haath nahi aati, mein koi statement nahi doonga kisi ko bhi.", he uttered with finality.

"Aur yeh shaadi aik contract pe hui hai pehle. Mujhe mera bhai chaiye aur uss ki hifaazat chaiye. Shaadi nahi." Anika spoke, wriggling herself out of Dadi's clutches around her. She stood in this room since past hour, taking in insults on her character by the people she had come to regard as her family. Her shoulders were pinched back and she had begin taking off the jewelry that was never meant for her, handing it one by one to Pinky aunty.

"Yeh aik din ki shaadi hai. Na aap ko mein pasand hoon, na mujhe aap. Mujhe mera bhai meri ankoon ke samne chaiye agle aik ghante mein. Nahi toh hangama mujhe bhi karna aata hai.", she threatened.

Shivaay looked seethingly at Anika's posture. Her voice wasn't pleading. It was icy and challenging. Just as it had been on the day she had cashed in his cheque for his own wedding.

"Dhamki de rahi ho tum? Tum jaisi larki, mujhe dhamki do gi!" he blurted meaningly, taking a step towards Anika to be only held back by Daadi coming in middle and Om holding Shivaay back with his own steely tone.

"Kyun? Aagr mujh jaisi larki duniye ke samne bilawaja ka badnaam ho sakti hai toh woh kuch aur nahi kar sakti? Bhuleya ga nahi ke police records ke mutabaq, aik raat aap mere saath guzar chuke hain. Mere ghar pe khud aa ke." she argued back, with brashness and assertiveness that had long diminished from there interactions.

"ANIKA!" Pinky howled.

"Yeh tum kiya keh rahi ho?" Tej bolted upright from behind. "Tum Oberoi Groups ka naam kharab nahi kar sakti ho!" All of his hard work couldn't be thrown away like that because of a pride-war between his nephew and his wedding planner. In no way was a girl as small as Anika going to ruin the repuatation of entire Oberoi group in mere seconds.

"Shivaay, yeh larki yahan jaise rehna chahe, waise reh sakti hai." he added on looking at Anika, observing the folds of her face but not understanding himself in what he was seeking in her.

"Billu, pehre koi mazak nahi hote. Tu ne iss ka haath thama hai, aur tu isse nahi chore ga. Tujhe meri kasam Billu." Dadi pleaded, making him question himself and pushng him to dive in his own created black hole.

"yeh shaadi aik contract hai. Mera bhai do, aur mein yahaan se chali. Iss ke baad, mera iss har ke kisi insaan se koi wasta nahi hoga." Anika gritted at Shivaay.

"Pehle Tia ka pata laga ne do." he gritted back at her.

"Anika, beta shaadi koi mazak thori na hai. Tum dono ne bhagwan aur agni ke samne vachan keye hain." Dadi turned to face Anika, not understanding why a girl who was clearly infauated by her grandson was no longer looking at the positives of this wedding.

"Haan Anika. Dekho aab shaadi toh hogai hai. Aik din ki shaadi kiya hoti hai. Mera beta koi dobara tohri shaadi kare ga. Jab tak Shivaay koi raasta nahi nikalta sab kuch theek karne ke leye, jab tak tum iss ghar ki bahu ho." Pinky added on.

"Mujhe iss ghar se kuch nahi chaiye. Mujhe toh in se shaadi bhi nahi karni thi. Agar mere bhai ki jaan ka sawaal na hota, toh mein apne aap ko manap ke aag me daal deti." she yelled.

"Mein iss ghar mein teen mahine guzar chuki hoon aur in teen mahinoon mein mujhe iss ghar se aisa kuch nahi mila hai jis ke leye mein apne aap ko apni nazar mein beechoon." she screamed. , "Abhi kuch deer pehle toh aap keh rahi thi ke mera koi character nahi hai?"

The screaming and chaos presented with an amazing opputunity for the Kapoors to easily slip out from the rooms. Tia was no where to be found and Anika, the sassy wedding planner with the street vocabulary was the Oberoi daughter-in-law. Mrs. Kapoor wiped off the sweat beads and escaped quietly, her exit only noticed by the eagle eyes of youngest Oberoi brother, Rudra.

What happened next and weather Anika decided to stay was unknown to her. For all she knew, the losses of Kapoor Interprises were now going to result in bankruptcy with whatever she had left, she planned to escape away from the hell that'll ensue nationally for her business and her reputation in the elite circles.

Her legs took large strides until she was carefully seated in her car and rushed past the paparazzi frenzy awaiting at the doors of Oberoi mansion. She took a sigh of relief, her anger bubbling at the mess that her duaghter had left up for her and her brain recalling the steeliness of the girl who had was hellbent on moving away from the mansion in mere 24 hours. She concluded, that once there is nothing to lose, she herself might find herself with nerves of Anika but it would be unreasonable to place yourself in a situation where there was never anything more to lose then your own self.

Mrs. Kapoor was unknown that the glimpse of hell she saw was the beginning of a downward spiral of Oberoi group, as they would eventually once again come to the fact of deciding who was going to be the heir of the massive business.

Four

Shivay looked at his watch for the sixth time. The impatience to be home was echoing through every move he took. He stood up from his chair, walking all around the spacious office not understanding why he was not at all able to focus.

The monochromatic tone of his office space was too confining, he altered subconsciously when the restlessness continued to grow. Slipping his phone into his pocket, he walked out of the office, alerting his assistant that he wouldn't be staying in any longer and that all his meetings should be delayed or postponed until further notice given by him. Shivay couldn't argue against that working for himself had always been an advantageous aspect in the business.

The chaffeur opened the doors of his car for him, his whole frame of mind itching to return and hear the answer his wife had for him.

His wife.

He chuckled inwardly. He always knew that he loved her but he didn't realize that it would be eventually be quiet easy to allow himself to change his impressions for her by accepting the love he had for her.

He entered the house and was surprised to find his mother standing in the middle of the gigantic living room, silently mumbling to herself. His curiosity got the best of him and he walked in, towards her. She appeared to hold a seemingly heavy packet in her hand.

"Yeh kya hai?"

She looked at him with an almost surprise. "Pata nahi. Kisi Chandra ne bheja hai." She replied, twisting and turning the package around in her hand. "Anika ke leye hai. Pata nahi kya hai."

"Mein le loon?" he asked

"Haan. Le le. Teri hi biwi ka hai. Mein ne khool ke aachar toh dalna nahi hai." She spoke wistfully, handing the package to her son with an almost accusing look. He took the package in his hand and stared at the name thoughtfully. He was certain that the name belonged to one of the illegitimate-son of the second Chandra brother who had taken over his brother's company about two decades ago. There had been intense scandals about the event but the details in his mind were quite hazy. Disappearance cases always had weird conspiracy lingo attached to them and with no logical reports, it's usually hard to come to a conclusion that would make sense. Why would a package from Chandra come for Anika was beyond his reasoning. His fingers itched to open the packet but his reawakened morals stopped him.

He looked up towards his mother who had been observing him keenly.

"Kya?" he questioned.

"Tu pareshaan laag raha hai. Kaam ki tension liya hua hai?" she questioned. Her tone had shifted significantly and rarely do such interactions took in between her son and herself.

He looked at her blankly before stepping backwards and sitting down at the lounge sofa placed behind him.

"Woh.."

"Anika ne aaj.." he started off hesitantly, his eyes staring ahead instead of meeting his mother's. Pinky picked up on the hesitancy quite naturally and sat down next to Shivay, concealing the disappointment in her eyes. Anika wasn't a bad girl. Instead she was quite naive, jovial and extremely courageous. Her only dismay was that Anika was Anika. She had only remained Anika for everyone and despite being someone she saw a reflection of her youth in, Anika was stubborn about being herself. The girl didn't belong into the pretentious society. There was no place for her.

She placed her hand on his shoulder. "Aagr tujhe yakeen hai ke woh tere leye apni rai badal sakti hai, toh darr mat. Woh 'haan' hi bole gi."

He looked at her. His eyes begging to be assured but there was nothing besides the validation of her own words that could really help him overcome the restlessness suffocating him. He nodded, unwillingly appearing to understand the words of his mother's and got up to leave.

His decision to force the marriage had been disastrous. He had lost everything and gained everything in mere seconds. He wished so much now, wished so much that things could be different but it had been decided that there journey wouldn't be smooth at all.

He entered the room, hoping to see her but only looking at the time and realizing that she won't be returning until it was well near dinner time. He took off the coat, unbuttoned the shirt realizing he had skipped the tie again and changed into casuals. The packet belonging to her had ended up at the arm chairs placed by the glass doors and his mind had reeled off from them.

His mind was only yearning for one person now. Her. He needed to talk to Rudra and Om before his mind exploded from the chaos of his need to hear her decision but those two had been missing as well. It ticked him that there had been something off about the way Rudra had started interacting with Someya since his wedding day. He brushed off the thoughts, and settled himself on the edge of the bed and reliving the moments spent with her in past few months.

She needed to say yes. Anika could not agree for a divorce. He had proven himself. He had proven his love, time and time again.

Shivay's bubble was about to burst soon. He hadn't realized that perhaps Anika never wanted to give him a second chance but ended up giving it unintentionally. He hadn't pondered over what a girl such as Anika, who refused to be anything else other then Anika; would want in return.

His thoughts were a tangled mess and he knew only one thing. It had to be a yes. What kind of yes it would be, was beyond him. Shivay Singh Oberoi had settled peacefully inside his own world overlooking once again that the situation was hand wasn't as uncomplicated as he had turned it into.

Five

Anika entered into the lawyer's office. The proceedings of filing a legal divorce between her and Shivay had taken up to six months. It could've been over in three but six sounded better in her head during the outburst of revelations after the marriage. It had been decided that Tia and Shivaay would part ways publicly after six months in exchange for handovers to Kapoors in there own business but the person standing in for Tia behind enclosed doors of the court would be she, herself.

It came out quite twisted but the lawyers had cooperated and when the lawyers cooperated, the judges were more then willing to go along with a show that would push there legacies into Page 3 as well besides the boring law journals. It had to be decided though unwillingly and through unspoken words amongst the family members that Anika's decision to sign on the papers can change as well if she does want to.

She didn't.

Anika couldn't deny any longer that she had not fallen for Shivay. Billu ji was after all, quite spirited in all there fights and throwing water on him had been far more satisfactory for her then it had been for any other person but he done the unthinkable. Shivay had forced his existence upon her. He had used her only weakness against her and whatever it may be, no one was to use Sahil as a crutch against her.

If one day he can decide to bring his brother in between there fight, he can stoop to doing it again and Anika wasn't there to take any chances. She had taken enough risks already to know that nothing substantial comes out of risking loved ones. She wasn't able to save Chutki, but she will let nothing come near Sahil.

"Anika!!" the lawyer exclaimed excitedly. It was a fascination to him how the girl had been able to exist with only one name on her national ID card.

"Mein divorce papers sign karne aain hoon." she replied back politely.

"Oh yes. Oh yes."

The man was short and stout with the tiniest hands. He pulled out the paperwork from one of his drawers and handed the papers to her. The proceedings of approval would start tomorrow onwards until the financial stakes were adjusted with her signature. He adjusted his tie, spotting out the essential spots of signatures needed on every document. For Anika, getting her house back from the Oberois had been a victory and she smiled to herself with every passing document to be able to return Sahil's house back to him without the strings attached to it.

She closed off the cap of the pen, her lips widened into a smile of happiness. her eyes mirroring the conflicting emotions wrecking havoc inside her but her brother was going to be safe and his future would be secure. That was enough to keep her at peace.

It was almost dinner time. She walked out of the office, her chappal making a clapping sound against the concrete as she sat on her scootie, instructing Sahil to hold onto her tightly. What Anika didn't realize as the wind blew past her hair was that the Oberoi's weren't just rich. They were also a powerful family and every powerful family had it's secrets. Secrets that can be the cause of tsunamis and earthquakes.

Author's Note:
I started watching IB after it was well past 75 episodes. After IPKKND, GK's choppy scripts and plots weren't up to par with what I wanted to see in soaps. I couldn't ever keep up with the show. Never watched a single episode fully till date yet write a bunch of material. I have to credit the cast and background score for that inspiration.

About the SS, it's vaguely in-line with the IB OS I've written. I wanted to write something where for once a GK heroine wasn't dying to run back to the dark, smoldering and handsome hero. I love NM but his character is terrible. I didn't really do a great job at sketching out the details of his character in this SS but I tried my best to put up a good open-ended exit of Anika as n alternative. As of now, I haven't seen he episodes nor any clips since Tia revealed that she's expecting.

Leave your remarks, critiques and reviews long or short on the thread. It would mean a lot.

Thanks for reading.

Loved it specially the part where anika give it back." hangama mujhe bhi karna aata hai" 👏. "Shivaay looked seethingly at Anika's posture. Her voice wasn't pleading. It was icy and challenging. Just as it had been on the day she had cashed in his cheque for his own wedding." awesome
