Hi guys! I really liked your comments. I'm pleased to see how much people would like to see arnav taste his own medicine. I'm one of them. Just wait and watch. đ
DEPRIVED :
After their fight that night, Arnav left for London the next morning without telling her. But for the first time, Khushi didn't feel hurt. In fact she was pleased, she needed that time to turn onto her new self, someone she never expected to become.
2 weeks later :
Arnav was back from his trip but he somehow fail to notice the change in his wife behavior. But he was about to do it soon. Arnav had an important meeting that they. He was waiting for some investors to come for the dinner at his home. And as a dutiful wife, he was expecting her to do the dinner for him and his guest. He even told them how good she cooked ( oh really?). The time of the dinner was near and Khushi were no where to be seen. He called her many times but she didn't pick. He was frustrated. He decided to take them to a 5 stars restaurant. When they asked him the reason he said that his wife had some family issues to take care of. Back home, he was surprised to not see her.
A: What the! Where is she? Just then she called him from behind
K: Hi ! How was the day? She said with a 1000w smile
A: where the hell where you damn it?
K: Excuse me?
A: I waited for you the whole day. I told you about that meeting days a back. How could you forget? I had to take them to the restaurant because her highness was too busy in doing only God know what.
K: I forgot so what? I was busy shopping. It's not a big deal.
A: what?
K: oh please spare me with that! You never liked my food anyway so there was the no need to waste my time cooking for you and your guests
A: you're my wife damn it! Who else is supposed to cook for our guests if not you?
The tension between them was at its highest level.
K: I'm glad you remembered that you have a wife but to your kind information, the earth doesn't revolves around you Mr Arnav Singh Raizada. Being your wife is not an end in itself. I have a life apart from yours.
ASR was shocked to the core. Then she continued.
K: you claim that money can buy everything then how didn't it came to your mind that you can hire someone to cook for your guests? Look like your sharp brain is on some vacation.
To say that Arnav was shocked would be an understatement. He was in front of someone but one thing was sure, she was not his wife. She turned to go when he called her.
A: KHUSHI! He said with his eyes red with anger. Had she been the old Khushi, she would have been afraid. But the Khushi he knew no longer exists.
A: don't you dare leave in the middle of the talk! K: I dare you to stop me Arnav Singh Raizada. She said and headed to her room leaving a shocked arnav behind. In her room she was trying hard not to cry and she succeeded . She hated being like this with him but she had to. She lied to him that she was shopping. In fact she was at the temple, praying for devy maya's help. She needed some strength. She bought things on her way back just to convince him that she was shopping. He was yet to realize what was happening to him.
The cold war was opened.
Since that day, Arnav marital life was a living hell. Every passing day was a tortuous one. He saw his wife change without being able to do anything. When he thought he had already seen the worse of her, she proved him wrong. He even try one day to take her for a romantic dinner. She refused and told him that he should stop watching movies because in the real life, love is an illusion.. He never thought this side of her ever existed.
3 weeks later :
That day she was supposed to fast for his long life as she always did. But to his surprise (and our pleasure), she was not. He never remember any important date before, be it her birthday or their marriage anniversary but that day, he remembered her fast.
A: Khushi I'll do my best to be on time today.
K: you know you! You can take as much as time you wish to.
He was a bit surprised.
A: but, Khushi how will you break your fast then? I know you can stand being hungry for a whole day.
"so you knew it? But in spite of that you let me die of hunger all these times I waited for you to come and break my fast " she thought.
K: what are you talking about arnav? I'm not fasting today.
A: what? But why?
K: I don't feel the need to do so. Plus you never believe in these things.
A: Khushi I know I never believed in that but you always liked to do that fast for my long life.
K: as you said I "liked to" but not anymore.
A: but Khushi..
K: please I don't want to talk about it! Plus why do you care? You don't need these fast and prayers anyway.
A: what do you mean by that?
K: you think yourself as god. Then why would the god you are need for someone prayers for his longevity? Are you worried that something bad would happen to you? She said taunting him.
He was flabbergasted. She continued
K:come on arnav! Since when did you started worrying about such things? It doesn't suit you! She left before he could think for an answer. How bitter it tasted to have a piece of his own medicine. The poor thing was helpless. He left disheartened.
On the temple, Khushi was asking for devy maya's forgiveness. She couldn't fast this time. She felt bad but her sacrifice was worth it, she thought. He had to realize what she'd been through. Khushi was cleaning her room when she hit the sindoor box Which falls down. She was shocked yet worried. It was a bad omen. Was Devy maya about to punish her for not fasting?
