Hello everyone...
I am book.worm... New to this forum, some of the Madhubala fans would know me.
Usually, I stick only to fanfiction threads, but lately I get this urge to get out of the fan-fiction threads and post my thoughtsđ
So my thoughts aređđ
Not Naina, Raghav is the nayee sochđłđ
Why I feel so, is coz, Raghav is the first lead, that I am seeing, who is not angry young man, who is waiting for that one soulmate to calm him down. He is not the typical, good at heart but arrogant hero. He is more grounded and most importantly, HAPPY in his world. And thanks to the creatives, that they are showing, Raghav has business acumen but he is no brilliant, intelligent, sharp typical hero. He is already shown as gullibleđđ. So, we are definitely not going to be disappointed like all the other leads, who disappoint us, once he falls in love, and falls prey to all types of misunderstanding by not using his brains when it comes to evil people. Here, Raghav already turns a blind eye to all the evilness around him and very gullibly falls prey to them. He is selfless, doormat and willingly takes shit from everyone. He has only uphill to go in terms of self-respect and attitude. We would be seeing his character growth, unlike the typical hero, who is shown larger than life and once, he falls in love/marry, his growth becomes stagnant and his character goes downhill, because for the plot the hero has to be oblivious everything around him.
And I am LOVING this hero. For a change, I am not seeing a successful, sharp and arrogant hero. I am seeing a common man, who is truly you and me, in the way he behaves and lives. He doesn't hold grudges and he loves everyone, and is genuinely happy for everyone. He takes everything in stride. And like everyone, he is going to have a breaking point, and that I feel would be worth waiting for.
Why I love Naina- Raghav
The first and foremost reason, it is not hate at first sight, there is no misunderstanding between them. They know, other is a genuinely nice person. There isn't any misconception of each other. And the best thing, Naina already knows that, it was Raghav who helped her regarding her mother's operation.
Their friendship is genuine and getting stronger. There isn't eye lock and wind blowing in their scenes, it is all natural. There is a clarity in the way they talk to each other and they understand one other. They don't feel the need to hide their emotion from one another. They understand each other, they care for each other and they are realizing that they can count on each other.
How are Sanjana & Veer connected to their story.
I have been wondering how Sanjana is connected to this story. And I am seeing couple of spoilers were they say that Raghav would sit at the mandap and get married to Naina. It seems a little too fast for the leads to get married this quickly (specially, for an Ekta showđ). Maybe it is engagement and not wedding.
Because, if Raghav and Naina get married now, there isn't much conflict as neither Veer nor Naina is in love. Only, Raghav is in love with Sanjana. And if it is a groom swap, either Naina would accept Raghav as her husband or she would leave everything and go back to India hence the title, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, but then, that would practically end Veer and Sanjana story arc. which is unlikely. So, I don't think a marriage would come up in the next 1-2 months.
Anyway, we know, how Veer is connected to the story but how Sanjana is connected to Raina. I'm getting two scenarios.
One is the most typical tested and used formula... Which I feel is the upcoming story.
Like Pam suggested, Sanjana would start acting nice to Raghav. But she would end up falling in love with him, the exact moment, Raghav falls for Naina. While, Naina is confused with Veer, as he is not what he is showing, and Raghav always covers up for Veer. But Naina also slowly starts to feel for Raghav. Somehow, Raghav and Naina ends up marrying or confessing their love. Like Rajeev from Pardes, Veer would feel insulted that Naina chose their servant over him, and he goes all possessive. Same for Sanjana, who goes all possessive over Raghav. And they try to separate Raina.
The other scenario is...
As per the spoilers, Dadi transfers all the properties to Naina. Veer is trapped. But Sanjana plays her game and Veer falls for her (very unlikely that would happen seeing his aversion to herđđ) or maybe, Veer would think that Sanjana is any day better than Naina considering she is more modern than Naina. And it would be easier to ditch her unlike Naina who is the apple of Dadi's eyes. But since, Dadi would kick him out if he didn't marry Naina, and all the properties are in Naina's name. So they would come up with a planđđ..
Since, it is pretty obvious to everyone that Raghav is in love with Sanjana. Sanjana gets engaged to Raghav. And both the couples decides to get married on the same day. But, they would have a typical bride & groom swap. Sanjana would sit with Veer while Naina with Raghav. Naina and Raghav would unknowingly get married to each other.
Veer and Sanjana decides to stay with Naina and Raghav till they can sort out the property issue. And Naina and Raghav would remain oblivious to the fact that they are married. Truly becoming, Apne kismat se bekabar do humsafar.đ¤Ł
