The promo could be misleading, but right now I like what it's hinting. It's intense and dramatic but I loved it.
I think we all had a feeling that both parties would not be happy with this wedding and the promo proved that. She may have agreed, but seems like he forced her hand and certain circumstances might have forced his hand. Who knows, but there is a lot of tension. Since they took the decision together (well sort of 😆) the blame will be placed on the both of them instead of her getting the burnt of it. For either of them to even consider marrying each other something big had to happen. Who knows why he is angry, but she has her own list of issues with him. I'm just happy the conflict is between them again.
Why would he marry her? To save her reputation? I highly doubt it. His family didn't care about her sacrifice the first time she lied about spending the entire night with him to save him. I will give him credit he did feel guilty but not enough to marry her.
To protect her? Everyone has been so causal about the whole stalker situation so it's possible he finally realized how far Daksh would go to have her and tries to intervene.
To save his family's reputation? Definitely a possibility because his family trumps everyone and everything.
The problem with marrying her is it wouldn't save his reputation because he himself considers her beneath him. Wouldn't this cause a scandal? He is not marrying his fiancee, but his wedding planner, who he reportedly had spent the night with previously. His reputation would take a hit and she would become the third-party in his relationship. So whatever spurred him to act has to be serious or this might be all about his ego. Either he is pissed that Daksh lied about the ONS or he found about Tia so he wants to humiliate her in a similar fashion by marrying another woman on their wedding day. He just had a press conference announcing he would marry Tia tomorrow naturally when the bride turns out to be someone other than his fiancee its not like no one will notice 😆
To be honest, I don't care why he is marrying her. I'm just happy he is doing something. The hair flick was hinting his return so I'm just glad SSO is back. He was going through the rituals in an angry manner, but he was clasping her hand, not her wrist. The way he was holding her hand makes me think he is angry about something else.
I feel bad she was forced into this she looked absolutely devastated the entire time. Maybe this how we get the old Anika back. Her hatred will last longer than his because she has nothing to prove. She is smart, kind, and confident the only thing she lacks is a surname. He needs to overcome his prejudices and prove his worth. He is an amazing brother, but he isn't exactly husband/boyfriend/fiancee material considering the way he treats Tia. No offense, the way I can see any woman agreeing to marry him is for his wealth (and his looks 😆), which is exactly what Tia is doing.
I wonder if a divorce is in the cards and will there be terms to their marriage? I can't see him being married to her long-term now or wanting her involved in his life and vice versa. Oberois never divorce, but I noticed the rules that apply to others don't apply to him. He makes declarations he doesn't discuss anything. He says it, so it is. No questions asked. It will take awhile for him to get over his prejudices and accept her for who she is. His ideology didn't appear overnight so its unrealistic to think they would disappear so quickly. After he finally understands Anika might not want his love or at least I hope. I don't think she will be around when he finally has that moment where he goes to Om. She has to leave for him to realize her worth and really hammer in his loss. Hopefully she doesn't forgive him so easily like she always does 😆
Either way, this is getting interesting. Once their wedding is over, I hope the story shifts to Om/Prinku's past and the Romi mess. I hate the fact we have been left hanging. With Om, the more the secret is kept hidden the harder it will be for him to get peace. She can't be dead because that would make them murderers, which I doubt will happen. I love that we're getting three separate stories, but the separation is wreaking havoc on their lives.
Best part of the promo: Rudra is okay and looks very happy. Does that mean he knows it's Anika and not Tia? I can't wait to see. I'm glad he escaped, but how long will he have to keep dealing with her.
