Opinion on Shivika'a marriage

This is just my opinion on Shivika's marriage, don't make this a post about me hating on the show. I just saw the clip Gul posted on Instagram and I am kind sick by it. I do not find it romantic at all. I find it savage and inhumane, it isn't funny or romantic. No girl should be forced marry another guy, no matter the reason. Shivaay maybe doing this for her betterment, she is better off with him rather than Daksh but does that make this forced marriage any less imhumane, I don't think so. By forcing her to marry, Gul is taking away her ultimate freedom, she is talking away her dignity, her respect. Marriage should be consensual, it should be driven by love and not hate and misunderstandings. This forced marriage strip away Anika's freedom of choice and that is disgusting. In India, today number of girls are made to marry forcefully and this just encourages it, it shows to people that's it's okay to marry a girl forcefully behave she will fall in love later, and that's not okay. We need to see consensual marriages on television, by forced marriages. It is not okay. And it will never be. It makes me sick to see Anika cry in her bridal outfit, that's supposed to her happy day! She hasn't admitted to her feelings, no matter what it looks like, Anika hasn't confessed so this marriage isn't okay. I am sorry but I don't find this track romantic and I never will.
