Part- 1
Arjun and Maya had been in a relationship for the last 4 years. Maya was insanely in love with her man, Arjun while the latter was with her only due to her mental illness. He knew if he had left her, she could kill herself. He knew she was deeply, madly, crazily in love with him and could stoop to any level to get him. He was scared to leave her and so they had decided to get married in the next three months. They were engaged. Everyone knew about this. Both the families knew about this. Maya's mother was more than happy with the news whereas Arjun and Saanjh's family were quite disappointed to hear it. However, they preferred to let Arjun decide his own fate. Saanjh had started hating Maya. For the last 4 years, she had been doing everything possible to separate the duo but all her plans had been failing miserably as both ArYa couldn't even think of leaving each other. Maya, because she loved him madly and Arjun, because he didn't want to take any risk.
It was enough for Saanjh now. She had made up her mind. She had decided to visit Maya in her office the next morning.
*NEXT MORNING*
Saanjh went to Maya's office.
Saanjh (To the receptionist)- Maya kaha hain?
Receptionist- Apne cabin mein hain. Aapko kuch kaam tha unse?
Saanjh- Usse kaho Saanjh aayi hai. Milna hain mujhe usse.
Receptionist- Sure ma'am.
The receptionist called Maya and told her that Saanjh was waiting outside to meet her. Maya asked her to let Saanjh in. Saanjh opened the door of Maya's cabin and was about to step inside when Maya stopped her.
Maya (looking at the laptop screen)- Tumhe kisine bataaya nahi ki kisi aur ke cabin mein ghusne se pehle unki permission lee jaati hain?
Saanjh stopped and asked Maya if she could enter the cabin. Maya allowed her to enter.
Saanjh- Maya, samajhti kya ho tum khudko? Mere Arjun ko mujhse dur karogi tum? Woh Arjun jisko main bachpan se pyaar karti aayi hu, tum use mujhse cheen logi? Nahi Maya, main aisa nahi hone dungi. Arjun sirf mera hain, samjhi tum? Sirf mera!
Maya looked at Saanjh with aggression. She had rage in her eyes. She slowly stood up from her chair and walked towards Saanjh. Saanjh was a little nervous and scared now. She knew Maya was a mentally disturbed woman.
Maya- Miss Saanjh Mathur, pehli baat toh yeh hain ki Arjun tumhara kabhi tha hi nahi. Uske liye tum hamesha sirf ek acchi dost thi. Nothing more, nothing less! Aur rahi baat meri use tumse alag karne ki, toh woh toh main pehle hi kar chuki hu. Dhamkaana tha toh pehle hi dhamka deti. Abb dhamkaane ka kya faayda?
With this, Maya went back to her chair and opened her laptop.
Maya (looking at the laptop screen)- Miss Mathur, now you may leave!
Saanjh angrily went out of the cabin feeling insulted.
Saanjh (in mind)- Maya, tumhe toh main Arjun se alag karke hi rahoongi. Yeh vaada hain mera!
That evening Arjun went to the terrace to smoke a cigarette and saw Saanjh sitting there alone. He playfully hit her head from behind.
Arjun- Hey Dusky, kiske sapno mein khoyi hain?
Saanjh- Kuch nahi Arjun. Bas aise hi akele baith rahi thi.
Arjun could feel that Saanjh was a little distracted. He threw away his cigarette and turned her towards him.
Arjun- Dusky, baat kya hain? Tu theek toh hain na? Thodi upset lag rahi hain. Kuch hua kya? Kisi ne kuch kaha tujhse?
Saanjh- Nahi Arjun! Aisa kuch nahi hain.
Arjun was about to say something when he noticed a small cut on her neck. He touched it and she winced. He was now more than worried for her.
Arjun- Ye kya hain, Dusky? Yeh chot kaise aayi tujhe?
Saanjh tried to ignore the topic.
Saanjh- Kuch nahi woh Shubh (her brother) ke saath fight kar rahi thi toh galti se chaaku lag gaya.
Arjun (angrily)- Tu jhooth bol rahi hain! Bata Dusky, bata kisne kiya yeh? Kisne di tujhe yeh chot? Naam bol uska! Zameen mein gaad ke rakh doonga use.
Saanjh- Nahi kar paayega tu!
Arjun- Kyu nahi? Tu bas naam bol uska. Baaki main dekh loonga.
Saanjh- Maya! Usne di mujhe yeh chot.
Arjun was shocked.
Arjun- Kya? Tu paagal ho gayi hain? Maya tujhe maarne ki koshish kyu karegi?
Saanjh- Pata nahi! Usne mujhe aaj subah apne office bulaaya. Jaise main waha gayi, woh mujhse kehne lagi ki main tujhe usse dur kar rahi hu. Aur toh aur usne ek chaaku se mujhe maarne ki bhi koshish ki. Woh toh accha hua ki main use dhakka dekar waha se bhaag aayi. Tabhi yeh chot lag gayi mujhe. Warna aaj toh mera marna pakka tha!
Arjun had never been any more angrier than this. His eyes were red with anger and rage. He hugged Saanjh and she smirked wiping her fake crocodile tears. He immediately rushed to his office.
Arjun (To the receptionist)- Maya kaha hain?
Receptionist- Woh toh meeting mein hain! Par unhone kaha hain ki jaise hi unki meeting khatam hogi woh aapko call kar legi.
Arjun- Bhaad mein gayi uski meeting!
Saying this, Arjun headed towards the conference room where Maya was present. He opened the door and entered inside.
Arjun- Maya, mujhe tumse baat karni hain.
Maya- Arjun, main abhi baat nahi kar sakti. I'm in a meeting. Give me 10 minutes. Meeting bas abhi khatam hone hi waali hain. Tab tak tum mere cabin mein baith sakte ho.
Arjun- I don't care. Mujhe tumse abhi isi waqt baat karni hain.
Maya- Arjun, tum dekh rahe ho na main busy hu? Abhi baat nahi kar sakti main.
Arjun went near her, held her arm, dragged her outside of the conference room and took her to her cabin. The other employees couldn't understand anything.
Employee 1 (To employee 2)- Maine aaj se pehle Arjun sir ko itne gusse mein kabhi nahi dekha. Lagta hain aaj toh inki shaadi toot hi jaayegi!
Employee 2- Aisa kabhi nahi hoga. Maya ma'am kabhi Arjun sir ko khudse dur nahi jaane degi.
Employee 1 - Woh bhi hain.
On the other side, Maya was shocked and confused.
Maya- Arjun, kya kar rahe ho tum? Leave my hand!
Arjun- Shut up okay? Just shut up!
Arjun violently pushed her and Maya ended up falling on the table of her cabin. She somehow managed to stand up. She looked at him with confused eyes.
Maya- Arjun, baat kya hain? Tum itne gusse mein kyu ho?
Arjun pointed his finger towards her.
Arjun- Main tumhe aur tumhare paagalpan ko pichle chaar saal se jhel raha hu. Abb aadat ho gayi hain mujhe tumhare paagalpan ke saath jeene ki. Lekin Maya, Saanjh ko beech mein laakar tumne theek nahi kiya. Mujhe tumhare saath rehne mein koi problem nahi hain lekin sirf tab tak jab tak tumse meri family ya Saanjh ko koi taqleef na ho. Aaj office mein tumne Saanjh ko kis iraade se bulaaya? Taaki tum uska khoon kar sako? Maar sako use?
Maya was shocked. She couldn't understand anything.
Maya- Kya? Arjun, tum hosh mein toh ho? Saanjh ko yaha maine nahi bulaaya tha. Woh khud aayi thi yaha mujhse milne. Main use kyu bulaungi?
Arjun- Kyuki tum jalti ho usse! Nafrat karti ho tum usse. Darti ho ki kahi woh mujhe tumse cheen na le.
Maya- Arjun, maine aisa kuch nahi kiya hain. Maine use maarne ki koshish nahi ki. Maine toh use yaha bulaaya bhi nahi tha. Woh khud aayi thi yaha mujhe dhamkaane. Yeh kehne ki woh hum dono ko ek nahi hone degi.
Arjun- Bas karo, Maya! Jhooth mat bolo. Mujhe acchi tarah pata hain tum kitni khatarnaak ho. Mujhe kisi doosri ladki ke saath dekh kar tum kya kya kar sakti ho yeh main acchi tarah jaanta tu. Tumhara woh roop main pehle bhi dekh chuka hu. Sach toh yeh hain ki tum paagal ho! You're a psycho. You need a psychiatrist because you are a psychotic woman. Tumhe pyaar ki nahi, mental treatment ki zaroorat hain. Abhi yeh haal hain, shaadi ke baad toh tumhare saath rehte rehte meri poori family bhi paagal ho jaayegi.
Saying this, Arjun went out of the cabin slamming the door a bit too hard. All the other employees had started gossiping about their fight. Maya was broken. Not even a single drop of tear escaped her eyes. She, like a maniac, started scratching and pulling her own hair. She rubbed her eyes and intentionally smudged her kaajal. She smudged her lipstick as well. She started laughing like a psycho with few tear drops building up in her eyes.
Maya- Arjun sahi kehta hain. Main paagal hu, paagal hu main! Yes, I'm a psycho. Hahaha yes, yes! Main, main hu paagal. Main hu ek psycho. Mujhe pyaar ki nahi, mental treatment ki zaroorat hain BECAUSE I AM A PSYCHO!
