I know we shouldn't be making comparison's between this show and jodha akbar, but this is one comparison i am sorry, i couldn't help myself from making.
This nandini claims to be a strong and intelligent princess warrior with battle knowledge. Jodha had all that. The difference between the two princesses was shown today though. Nandini claimed chandra was using the war rules to hide his cowardice. This only proved that she only knows how to fight, but isn't a warrior in the true sense as warriors are also bound by certain principles of war, which chandra stuck to, but this nandini obviously has no sense of principles when it comes to war and can only speak by sheer words and swords, but is a failure of a warrior at heart. If chandra had in fact broken the rule of 'no war after sunset' and continued to kill nanda, she would have still called him a coward using the breaking of the rule as an excuse no doubt, and she calls him a coward even when he plays by the rule. Stupid girl who is all bark, no bite 😆
This is where jodha differed. She was not only strong and a female warrior of royal background like nandini, but she was also very well aware of the principles of war and warriors and was intelligent and knowledgeable who had a lot of powerful insight on important issues and was capable of questioning societal norms. Nandini lacks all of this that jodha had and is rather just a hot-tempered, egotistic princess who is full of false pride and is too blinded by her father's power as a king, the power of the kingdom she is from and her father's fake good-king image to even see the difference between right and wrong.
