She ran, she ran as hard as she could. Suffocation taking her up at a high. She didn't know what just happened. What did she just do? She ran outside of the Oberoi Mansion after saying yes to Daksh's proposal. Earlier today she witnessed the most disturbing thing she could ever hear about herself from the one person she could call her savior in any situation. The person she unconsciously had started to love. Shivaay.
She reached to the garden by the pool and slumped down on the grass. She couldn't believe her stars, her life was a complete mess. Crying almost that she can't breathe, she looked up at the sky looking for answers. Crying at her luck. Her life couldn't have gotten worse she chuckled. She had learnt to become a stone long time back but Shivaay had her loosened up. But she knew it was too good to be true. That people like her will never receive any happiness. Especially a girl like her that had no surname as per Shivaay.
On the other hand Shivaay couldn't believe his ears. His heart dropped into his stomach. He felt like he was sick. Did she just say yes he thought? Looking at her almost crying, he saw Daksh take Anikka's hand and slipped the ring in her finger. And all he could do was stand there and watch. The entire family was in a state of shock. But Shivaay was in the real state of shock. He saw her face. Her eyes red from crying. It cringed him inside seeing her like that. She turned around and saw Shivaay staring at her like he had lost something. As soon as he saw her, a lone tear came out of her eye and she ran out of there as fast as she could. Followed by Shivaay.
He needed answers and needed them now but when he saw her crying her life away, something in his heart ached.
He went up to her and pulled her to him abruptly. She shocked out of her wits, didn't expect him here.
A: "Let go of me!" She said with blood shot red eyes
S: "Not until you tell me why you said yes to Daksh" he said in angst
A: "I said let me go!"Almost shouting but had no strength in her anymore
S: "Not until you answer my damn question Anikka! Why the hell did you say yes to his proposal!!" Gripping her tight from her arms he asked away. His own pain coming out.
A: "Why do you care huh? Why do you care who I say yes to and who not? Trying wriggle out of his grip Who am I to you!" Looking into his eyes You have no right!
S: Pinning her against the wall by the pool, almost shouting said "I do care! I do care damnit!"
A: "No you don't care she shouted. You don't care especially for a girl like me who is nothing but a gold digger." Taking all of her strength, she pushed Shivaay off of her. Stumbling back Shivaay looked at her. "You should stay away from me Mr Oberoi, I might try to take your finances place and marry you so I can be rich" she said with angry tears coming out.
Shivaay was taken aback. Why was she saying all of this
A: "That's why you gave Tia the money to give to me so I can stay out of you life. You really think I would be such a cheap girl?! Crying she said, you really think that I, I would do something like this to you?! Almost grasping for air, she said "I was so dumb, my mistake of thinking that you have changed. That you did care about me. That you, you aren't the person you pretend to be and much more. My mistake for thinking that maybe, you..you had felt what I had felt." Tears streaming down her face. "But Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi, you have forgotten that I am Anikka, and I don't let any random person like you ruin me. I've been alone all my life and will be the rest of my life." She said brushing her tears off her face with anger. "So now if you please let me go. You are getting married to Tia in a few days and I don't want anyone seeing us here together. I'm an engaged women now so it'll be good that we don't speak to each other." She said leaving but Shivaay had caught her wrist.
