Sonam Kapoor left us stunned with her performance in Neerja this year. We were certain that the actress would bag many awards this year and looks like we were right! Though the award season hasn't started yet, Sonam has bagged her first award at the Asiavision Awards 2016 already. The 11th edition of the prestigious award show was held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates a few days back. The award show honours Indian performers and technicians. Sonam Kapoor won the Best Actress award for her performance in Neerja. The actress looked stunning in a black velvet Caroline Hayden gown.

Sonam was very happy as she got the award. She was seen interacting with the crowd as well as other other celebs at the event. Radhika Apte was also awarded for her outstanding performance in Parched, Phobia and Kabali. Amy Jackson also bagged an award for excellence in Tamil Cinema, while Tamaannah Bhatia got the Best Actress (Tamil) award for Dhana Durai. Ram Charan was also awared for being the Youth Icon of the year. Cool na?
