I don't think Akaash is going to tell Manya that he thinks of her only as a friend but automatically assume that Manya knows that his flirting is meaningless. Then, Manya will find Akaash with Rupa and understand what was going on when he confesses his love to Rupa. And that is when she will be heartbroken.
