shocked by the characterisation of shivaye

thats the problem with Indian shows the hero is brainless..he is rich good son bro businessman helps ppl but when it comes to wife/GF they are DUMB PERIOD... EITHER THEY ARE MEAN OR NASTY AND WHEN IN LOVE or THEY BECOME SPINELESS WITHOUT ANY LIKES/DISLIKES asper his girl

What's so shocking? It's obvious with Shivaay it's a case of mind vs heart that are in battle right now. His heart says Annika but his mind says that she is no match for him, keeping in mind his khoon, khandaan & lineage reservations. By showing him reacting this way to Annika and Daksh and possibility of their future alliance, they are showcasing his internal turmoil. He clearly loves Annika and is unhappy about his wedding with Tia and here it's a case of the greater evil. For him it's better to stick to his original decision and marry a khandaani Tia over a poor Annika. Despite his feelings, because as you know SSO has never given his feelings any precendence. But he is in for a rude shock because the feelings here are just way too deep and there is just no going back for Shivaay. 😆

He is fallible. No one is perfect, after all. Yes, he was upset yesterday during the pool scene. It might have been because he wanted to know her answer and she kept deflecting. He was desperate to know and she started literally reciting the multiplications table 😆 I enjoy seeing all the layers of his personality it makes his character seem real.

There are o explanations too selfish/territorial etc. You know what i think till he himself gets married usko umeed rahegi ki anika se shaadi hosakti hai so he wants anika to be available😆

Interestingly see what Gul did too anika a strong girl who defied shivay thats why he loves her but now is egoless n desperate t help shivay who clearly gets away by calling her a gold digger inspite of what she did for him

but this indian TV so accept it...shivika is the best as of now on indian TV😃

There is no confusion. Everything is crystal clear. 😆 He understands what he feels yes, but just like I mentioned in my reply, for SSO feelings have always taken a backseat. He is a practical person, so he does not subscribe to the the idea of love & feelings ruling his life over mind and his principles that are right now almost set in stone. Love is only a new feeling for him, why should he change his views and principles that have stayed with him for all these years for new found love? So this 'confusion' as you like to call it is very much a battle of heart vs mind and it's going to take a lot to shake the foundation for SSO's core principles. And I'm going to enjoy his journey very much because I vehemently dislike characters that immediately forget about their life's principles just because they fell in love. It is completely unrealistic to me. Good progression and character growth can only be shown when the character is shown battling between their principles vs feelings, and eventually coming to choose one over the other.
