Hey guys!
How is everyone doing?
I'm sorry for having disappeared without a trace. Life happens pretty suddenly and you don't even get a chance to brace yourself. Here's the deal, my youngest cousin got detected with acute Leukemia early last week. Imagine our shock when we rushed him for a dengue test and cancer turned up. Majority of the week went past in denial, dismay and dread. The doctors say 50% of his cells are cancerous, his blood count is not promising but with progressive chemo and blood transfusion, he should be okay. If not, bone marrow is last resort. Prognosis will be charted out after the first week of chemo is complete, which is by this weekend. The minimum he will have to stay in a hospital is 2 months. He's just a kid, 21 is no age to be sitting in a hospital fretting over what life could have been. But he's a strong boy, he's got all of us with him, and now he's got all of you as well. It's my heartfelt request that each of you please remember my brother, Zariq in your prayers, he needs a lot of those. It would mean a hell of a lot to me❤️
I will try to be around more regularly, I know you'll would say don't it's okay, take care, but I need the break too, coming here once in a while makes me feel better. Regarding the updates, I'll be writing while I fill in my time at the hospital, so please be patient with me. All of you that messaged me regarding my absence, thank you so much and I'm so sorry for having not replied to any, I will eventually.
And to end this rant, I just wanna say, life ka na, koi bharosa nahi hai, just live it full fledged. We all worry about the future, future toh kal aayega. Aj aa chuka hai. Aj mai jeeyo, kal ki kal dekh lenge.
